MY SALVATION

MY SALVATION Habakkuk 3:9-19 Devotional:- “Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation” (V. 18). NKJV In the scripture today, Habakkuk made bold to say that even though the works of his hands are not prospering, even if his Labour fails, even if there is no food to eat, and his pocket is empty, yet he will rejoice in the Lord. What is the secret of Habakkuk? I will joy in the God of my salvation..., the Lord is my strength” A man who has experienced the salvation of the Lord can trust God for anything. If God could give his only son for our salvation. There is nothing else that he cannot offer freely to us  (Romans 8:32). And His salvation is our strength.  In salvation is great joy, irrespective of what is happening around you. To be saved is to allow Jesus to dwell in our heart (Revelation 3:20). When you allow Him to dwell in your heart, His joy will be established in you. You will always remember His saving grace gives you victory over all ...

RICHES IN THIS KINGDOM

RICHES IN THIS KINGDOM

Read: Mark 10:23-27
Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!” (Vs. 23)

One of the things people have so much concern about is their riches. These are the valuable resources they have gathered over time. Everyone wants to jealously keep his/her valuables. Because of our approach to laboring hard to gather these valuables, we tend to turn them to gods.
When Jesus told the disciples of how difficult it will be for the rich in this world to enter into the kingdom of God, they were astonished. They asked Him about who could be saved? Jesus explained in verse 24 that those who put their trust in their valuables would not be able to live in God’s kingdom. If care is not taken, almost everyone who is supposed to be chasing the Kingdom of God would find themselves racing to gather wealth. This is because they think that with it (wealth) they are secured. God is the true security (Psalm 127:1-2).
A genuine child of God must not trust in his/her riches (1 Timothy 6:17-19). Abraham, the father of faith was willing to let go of his only son. Is there anything you cannot let go for God? God wants to bless you with many things. Don’t ever let fear or greed stop your coming blessings. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, make me above any material blessing in this world.

“WHATEVER YOU CAN’T GIVE IS BIGGER THAN YOU AND IS YOUR god”
