PROTECT YOUR HEART Proverbs 4:20-27 Devotional:- “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” (V. 23) NLT Everyone is born with a strength capable of rising to greatness. In every growing child is a seed of greatness. It is this strength that makes the youth so creative and energetic. That is why each young person looks at the future with great hope. The enemy tries to destroy this strength. As strong as many started in life, not many could strike the chord of success because their strength was destroyed.

THE DANGER OF THE KINGDOM
Read: Luke 9:57-62 But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” (Vs. 62)
There are some “don’ts” in the kingdom of God. Being unmindful of these “don'ts” put you in danger as a citizen. This is because this kingdom has a terrible and wicked enemy (1 Peter 5:8). You must be careful to know these “don’ts” because it is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the devil.
One of those terrible things is that, having tasted the power and the mysteries of the power of God, don’t ever turn back. You must make up your mind to be total with God. That is why I pity Christians who still want to wine and dine with the world.
Some people do not know that they are looking back when they allow depression, sorrow, disobedience to the laws of God or living in unrighteousness, among others. As a Christian, if you stop paying your tithes, you know what you will face. Be careful about living in fear (2 Timothy 1:7). You must keep building up your faith in God (Luke 22:31-32). Remember the wife of Lot who looked back (Gen. 19:15-26). Don’t ever look back. God will surely sustain you to the end (Isaiah 41:10). The hand and grace of God will not let you fall in Jesus name. Peace!
Prayer: Lord, sustain me to the end.
“YOU CAN’T CAST OUT THE DEVIL TODAY, JOIN HIM TOMORROW AND NOT REGRET IT”
THE GRACIOUS Exodus 34:1-8 Devotional:- “…The Lord, the Lord a God merciful and gracious, long-suffering and abundance in goodness and truth” (V.6) AMPL For believers of this Generation to have the fullness of heaven as the word of God promised, they will need to have the right understanding of who our God is. It is the wrong concept of God that has limited the exploitation of Christians and made many lives wrongly. God’s word says those who know their God shall be strong (Daniel 11:32). If you will be stronger than your challenges you must know your God.
ONLY THE VICTORS Revelation 21:1-8 Devotional:- “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son” (v. 7) NKJV In this part of the world, many are not so used to taking responsibility over challenges. Instead of been proactive to foresee and prevent issues, people are used to looking out for whom to blame and who should help out (Proverbs 14:23). It is vivid that we are in a challenging season. It is also clear that we are drawing closer to the end of the age.
ALTERNATIVES II Kings 5:1-15 Devotional:- “Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage”. (V12) NKJV It is always the trick of the devil to make us lose sight of God. So he often makes us see alternatives to God. His own goal is to take people away from God. The enemies so much make his way look easy and quick but with eternal implications. That is why you need to grow your faith and not yield to his tricks. The devil’s alternative will always be with covenants that bind into darkness.
