  OVERFLOWING WITH JOY Psalm 23:1-6 Devotional:- “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over” (v.5) NKJV It is the will of God in this season to fill your life with good things until you overflow with joy. This is not God’s plan for a few people but for all mankind. He intends to make everyone overflow with the good things of life. What does it mean to overflow? This simply means God want everyone to experience an abundance of good things and then flow out to others (John 10:10).  King David was sharing the testimony of his own overflowing experience. Though the enemies wanted to stop him, the Lord did it for him. Despite all the challenges and hurdles he has to pass through yet God brought him to his overflowing experience. CHILDREN OF THE KINGDOM                     

Read: John 1:6-12
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. (Vs.12)
 
    Citizenship of the kingdom of God is by faith in the salvation and redemption Jesus brought. Please, remember that we are learning about a spiritual kingdom and not physical one. So, the materials for citizenship are not human but are by faith.
 
    God sent Jesus into the world for the purpose of bringing the sons and daughters of men into His kingdom. That is why it will be wrong to look at Christianity as a religion. It is the kingdom of God. The assignment of Jesus was carried out by Him shedding His precious blood so as to pay the price of our redemption from the kingdom of darkness into His marvelous light. That is, taking us away from the devil’s kingdom and bringing us to God’s kingdom (Colossians 1:13-14). He had to pay with His blood which contain His life, because that is the currency in the spirit realm (Leviticus 17:11). He died the death sinners ought to die according to the law (Romans 6:23, 5:6-8).
 
    To become a citizen of God’s kingdom, you only need to accept and believe that He shed His blood for you. That conferred on you the right and power to become a child of God, not of the flesh but of the spirit. This then gives you access to all the goodness and blessings of God. As a child of God, the enemy has no legal right over your life. You are free from his kingdom because you have become a New Creature in Christ Jesus. It's a new day!
 
Prayer: Lord, let my believe in your death and the shed of your blood qualify me for God’s sonship.
 
“IF JESUS’ DEATH IS NOT FOR YOU, THEN YOU WILL DIE FOR YOUR SINS”

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
