  OUR REDEEMER Colossians 2:9-18  Devotional:- “In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”(V. 14) No life living under the power of curses can by any means prosper. This is because curses have the power to destroy the strength to prosper. When it is said that a man is cursed, it means a word was spoken to him, and this word follows him to pull him down wherever he goes. You need to know that the Word often became flesh to follow people (John 1:14). So it often stands as a spirit assigned to follow men about. So when a man is cursed, it is under a monitoring spirit that destroys his help, favour and success. But we have this great love of God demonstrated to us in Christ Jesus. Jesus came to redeem us from the curses ofthe law. In other words, He has come to set us free from the slavery of sin and Satan. To redeem means to set free or buy back from the slave market. CHILDREN OF THE KINGDOM                     

Read: John 1:6-12
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. (Vs.12)
 
    Citizenship of the kingdom of God is by faith in the salvation and redemption Jesus brought. Please, remember that we are learning about a spiritual kingdom and not physical one. So, the materials for citizenship are not human but are by faith.
 
    God sent Jesus into the world for the purpose of bringing the sons and daughters of men into His kingdom. That is why it will be wrong to look at Christianity as a religion. It is the kingdom of God. The assignment of Jesus was carried out by Him shedding His precious blood so as to pay the price of our redemption from the kingdom of darkness into His marvelous light. That is, taking us away from the devil’s kingdom and bringing us to God’s kingdom (Colossians 1:13-14). He had to pay with His blood which contain His life, because that is the currency in the spirit realm (Leviticus 17:11). He died the death sinners ought to die according to the law (Romans 6:23, 5:6-8).
 
    To become a citizen of God’s kingdom, you only need to accept and believe that He shed His blood for you. That conferred on you the right and power to become a child of God, not of the flesh but of the spirit. This then gives you access to all the goodness and blessings of God. As a child of God, the enemy has no legal right over your life. You are free from his kingdom because you have become a New Creature in Christ Jesus. It's a new day!
 
Prayer: Lord, let my believe in your death and the shed of your blood qualify me for God’s sonship.
 
“IF JESUS’ DEATH IS NOT FOR YOU, THEN YOU WILL DIE FOR YOUR SINS”

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
