LIVING WITH PURPOSE

LIVING WITH PURPOSE Proverbs 19:16-23 Devotional – “You can make many plans, but the LORD's purpose will prevail” (v. 21 NLT) Living on purpose is the only way to really live; everything else just merely exists. Most people struggle with these three questions in life; WHO AM I? (Identity); WHY AM I MADE? (Purpose); WHAT IS MY PLACE IN LIFE? (Impact). The answers to these entire questions are found in five Gods purpose for you. Now that you know God’s purpose for your life, it is important you live in it. For you not to drift away from the most important things of life, it is important to develop a purpose statement for your life and regularly review it. This is a statement that summarizes God’s purpose for your life (Psalm 39:11). It is a statement that point the direction of your life (Proverbs 4:26). ABOVE DARKNESS

ABOVE DARKNESS

Read: Matthew 12:22-30But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. (Vs.28)
The kingdom of God is a kingdom of light. Light is above darkness any day and at any given point in time. The two cannot co-exist. One will have to bow for the other. The moment light comes, darkness disappears (John 1:5). This is why the kingdom of God is more superior to the kingdom of the devil.

Many people have not known much about the kingdom of light. They only have so much information about the kingdom of darkness. This has made many in this part of the world to think that the devil is more powerful or more capable than God. So, when someone is doing any spectacular thing, he is believed to be doing it by the power of darkness.

God made the devil (Isaiah 14:12-15). He (the devil) was chased out of heaven because he rebelled against God and lost his power ever since (Rev. 12:7-12). Jesus defeated and disarmed him (Colossians 2:15). Today, all power belongs to Jesus (Matthew 28:18). You can cast out the devil in the name of Jesus by faith and he will run for his life. Don’t ever be intimidated by his gimmicks. Resist him and he will flee from your life and family in Jesus name (1 Peter 5:8-9). Peace!

Prayer: I receive freedom from all intimidation of the devil from now in Jesus name.
