USING WHAT GOD GIVES YOU

USING WHAT GOD GIVES YOU Romans 12:3-8 Devotional:- “So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another” (V.5) God who has made each of us and expect us to make the best use of what he has given us. Instead of envying others’ SHAPE, He wants you to be happy using the one he has given you. Your first step for been the best with your shape is to locate as many as possible gifts and special abilities in your life. Make a list out of them and ask which of them you have seen result and others do confirm (Ephesians 5:17). The best way to discover your best is by excising them in serving God, and then you will discover your good area in life. To know what you can best do to serve God by blessing humanity, observe your personality and your passion which is your heart desire (Galatians 6:4). Ask yourself what do I really enjoy doing most? What do I really feel fulfilled doing? Examine the lesson you’ve learnt in your experiences in life. (Deuteronomy 11:2)...

MYSTERIES

MYSTERIES

Read: Mark 4:10-12
And He said to them, “To you, it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables. (Vs.11)

The kingdom of God operates by the mystery of God. It is hidden because God wants it to look foolish to the common mind (1 Corinthians 2:6-8). But they are the wisdom of God for human liberty (1 Corinthians 1:23-25). Mysteries are the hidden wisdom of God. God says His ways are different from our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). So, as God’s children, we need to know that operating in the kingdom demands us having the working knowledge of His mysteries (I Corinthians 22:14).

Jesus said, God has given us access into His mysteries. People outside are in darkness (Isaiah 60:2-3). Mysteries are hidden truths that solve the problems of life (Proverbs 25:2, Deuteronomy 29:29). That is why the mysteries of the kingdom of God are still mysteries to them but to us they are the working of the power of God. That is why only the humble and the meek can operate in this kingdom (Psalms 25:9-14). You should not be a Christian and be ignorant of the power of God. The Holy Spirit is the revealer of secrets.

These mysteries are the hidden power in the blood of Jesus; the power in the communion table; the power of the anointing oil, among others.
Friend, stop complaining about these mysteries. Seek to have knowledge by studying and meditating on the word of God with an open mind. As you do that, the Holy Spirit will show you the deep things of God which will put you in command of His word. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, reveal Your power to me for my progress.
