MADE TO SERVE GOD 1 Corinthians 3:5-17 Devotional:- “For we are both God's workers. And you are God's field. You are God's building. (V.9 NLT) God put you on earth to make contributions and make a difference with your life. Another purpose of your life is to serve the Lord wherever you are. You are created to add to the earth and not just to take from it. This purpose of your life is called ministry or service. It is very important that you live in this consciousness, you were created to serve God (Ephesians 2:10). Wherever you are either in the school or in the office, be sure you are serving God and fulfilling your purpose.  God saved you to serve Him. Your work, business or academic is also a work and a service to the Lord (Ephesians 6:5-7). God redeemed you to do His holy work everywhere in your life. THE KINGDOM OF LIGHT

THE KINGDOM OF LIGHT

Read: Proverbs 4:13-20.
But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day. (Vs.18)

There are only two kingdoms in the spirit realm.  They are; the kingdom of God and the kingdom of the devil. They represent the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness. These two kingdoms always contend for the souls of men.

The Scripture says, the path of the just is like a shining light which shines brighter and brighter. By this, the Bible means a progressive revelation and a progressive life of glory. The breath of God gives us understanding and makes us intelligent (Job 32:8). The more your understanding is open, the more your life keeps getting better. The word of God opens us to a greater understanding which keeps us stronger and better so that we do not stumble but overcome continually (Ps. 119:97-100, Prov. 3:23, 1 John 5:4).

For your life to experience the light of understanding, you must give yourself to studying and meditating on the word of God. You must keep to your fellowship with the Holy Spirit who is the revealer of the truth. Also, you must keep obeying God so as to enjoy the blessings of His light (Isaiah 58:8, James 1:17). Then the glory of God shall be visible all around your life and wherever you are, you will be a shining example. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me to keep walking in Your light.
