  FORMED FOR GODS FAMILY Hebrews 2:5-18 Devotional:- “For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” (V. 10) The second major purpose of your creation is that you are formed for Gods family (1 John 3:1) God wants a family and he wanted you to be a part of it. The entire bible is full of the story of God building a family that will love him, honor and reign with him forever (Ephesians 1:5) NLT. God is love, so he cherish relationship (1 John 4:7-8). The nature of God is relational and that is why He identifies himself in fatherly terms; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When we turn to the Lord and give our lives to Jesus Christ, God becomes or Father we become His children, other believers become our brothers and sisters and the church becomes our spiritual family. DILIGENCE ​​​​ 

Proverbs 10:1-10
Devotional-“He who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the diligent makes rich”  (V. 4)


    The act of diligence is the act of giving the degree of attention and efforts that is require in achieving a given task. Diligence has to do with you putting yourself together to pay the price for a prize. So many will always envy a man of great achievement. Everyone like to celebrate good progress. But there is a need to learn how to be ready to pay the price.
 
   The Bible says “he who has a slack hand will become poor but the hand of the diligent makes rich” (additions mine). If anyone is not willing to pay the price, he cannot get the prize. Most people only want to go about talking and playing around, but they become jealous when they see you making progress. He that has a slack hand will become poor. Such people labour a little and relax again and again. When you are ready to give the level of degree of attention your work need to succeed, you will succeed.
 
   Friend, stop taking your work as if it does not concern you because you are on salary. You need to build the right attitude in all that you do (Luke 16:10-12). Good achievement demands diligence in any pursuit. There is a need to makeup your mind to create your desire. You don't need to envy anyone. You can do all things (Philippians 4:13). Don't give yourself to idleness and laziness. You will not be behind in Jesus name. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, l receive the grace to succeed in Jesus name 
 
“PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT DILIGENT WILL ALWAYS BE DELETED FROM THE RACE OF LIFE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
