ACKNOWLEDGING HIM

ACKNOWLEDGING HIM Proverbs 3:1-8  Devotional:- “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (v.6) KJV. To be able to enjoy God’s loving kindness, all of us must learn to always acknowledge God in all our decision-making. This simply means that we recognise Him as our owner and the one who is qualified to instruct us on where to turn. When we gave our lives to Christ, we all confessed Jesus as our Lord. This means we acknowledge Him as the one who has the final decision over our lives. But we often forget to carry Him along in making decisions that will, in the end, have a great adverse effect on our lives. If we are to enjoy the love and the goodness of the Lord, we must learn to acknowledge Him. And this is by patiently asking Him for His instructions for us. The truth is that He will always guide us. He said, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalms 32:8). The truth is that you are gu...

SOLOMON’S CREATION

Redeemer of Israel: Solomon's Temple ExplainedSOLOMON’S CREATION

1 King 7:27-39
Devotional - “He also made ten carts of bronze; four cubits was the length of each cart, four cubits its width, and three cubits its height”  (V. 27)

Solomon was one of the men who first made a cart that is almost like a car. Before his time, we have heard of chariots for the battle, but Solomon by wisdom created or design a cart. He was a man who enjoys the wisdom of God  through the help of the Holy Spirit (John 14:26). As a believer, filled with the Holy Spirit, God has given you all you need to emerge as a star to your generation.

The Bible told us how King Solomon by the wisdom of God made so many spectacular thing happened. You need to know that the spirit of wisdom that is in operation in Solomon is a normal part of the Holy Spirit that Jesus has given us (Isaiah 11:1-2). Jesus says that the Holy Spirit will teach us all things . That is why you must not be backward in that office and even in the house of God (Deuteronomy 28:3).

The challenge with many Christians today is that they have a wrong mindset about themselves. They believe that any thing that is great is of the devil. This is why you need to daily have strong fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Make up your mind to be total with God. You cannot be partial with God and enjoy the best of God. Worldliness makes God cut off from you. To make friend does not mean you have to be worldly (James 4:4). Create quality fellowship with the Holy Spirit always. He will make you a testimony to your generation. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always connect with you in fellowship.
