KING DAVID   Psalms 23:1-6 Devotional:- “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over” (v.5) NK JV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional KING DAVID Pastor Remi Agbabiaka  ·  Psalm 23:1-6 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com   From an early age, David had been facing the resistance of the enemy. He was a boy who liked to serve. Beginning from the service in the field with the sheep of his father to the service of King Saul. He made himself available to serve, such that the day prophet Samuel came to their house to anoint him as the king, he was in the field caring for the sheep. But right in his family, some of his brothers were jealous of him.   By God’s favour, he was brought to the palace to serve the king. 2 Samuel 23:8-17
Devotional-“So the three mighty men broke through the camp of the Philistines, drew water from the well of Bethlehem that was by the gate, and took it and brought it to David. Nevertheless he would not drink it, but poured it out to the LORD”  (V. 16)

A workforce motivated is a virtue of creation. The word of God says, two are better than one, for they will have good reward for their labour (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). When a people are of one language and one mind, God can do great things through them.

The word of God shows us the level of commitment displayed by the armies of King David. He was just expressing himself as he think about the water in the well of Bethlehem. It could be that they were in a sunny place and were thirsty. So he remembered how cool or how clean the water of Bethlehem used to be. Three of the army heard what David said, signal to each other and drove through the enemy’s camp, get the water, drove through the enemy’s camp again and brought the water to David. This is a high level of commitment to leadership.

Achievement become easy when the team are motivated, in fact, it can work a miracle . Motivating your team is by being an encouragement to them. Money is not everything but money is important. Much more are words of encouragement and appreciation  of people's efforts. Correcting in a way that will make them get better in what they do. Helping them when they are in need. Been there for them in times of challenges. Then, they will be there for you and your success. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to build a great team
