TAKE NO OFFENCE Luke 7:18-30 Devotional:- “And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me” (v.23) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional TAKE NO OFFENCE Support Us Luke 7:18-30 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Sometimes, men easily get offended. That is, they get annoyed and refuse to relate to one another. Many of us have some people we don’t greet now on this account. Some people have taken offence at their parents and relations, and they refused to relate to them. The truth is that if you know the harm you are doing to yourself by so doing, you will give up on this.   In the scripture we read today, John the Baptist was not happy because Jesus did not come to rescue him from prison, and he took offence at Christ. He sent messengers to Jesus to ask if He was the Christ or not. This question see...

CREATING PROVISION

CREATING PROVISION
Matthew 17:24-27
Devotional- “Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you." (V. 27)

Every man or woman must learn how to create their own money. He that does not know how to create his own medium of financial flow will not be able to achieve so much in this world. The world have no respect for a man who cannot achieve great things. So, you must learn how to command money to respond to you especially in time of needs.

The tax collector came and was expecting Jesus and His disciples to pay their taxes. At that moment the treasurer among the disciples might not be around and Jesus had to create how to pay their taxes. There is a need to learn from this. Note that Jesus instructed Peter to go and catch a fish and not a rat. This was because Peter was a fisherman. That is why you also need to have a job or business. It is there God will often channel help to you. Peter obeyed the Lord and the rest was a testimony.

God expect each one to have something doing i.e. a means of income. God hates idleness (1 Thessalonians 4:10-12). Your money is in your place of labour. That is why you should be faithful and loyal there.(Luke 16:10-12). When you are in need, ask God for what to do (Proverbs 3:5-6; Psalms 37:23-25; Isaiah 48:7). Be sure that you are first faithful to God in your finances and God will not allow you to be stranded financially (Malachi 3:10-12). Also be sure that you affect lives and keep fulfilling the purpose of God in all you do. He will always supply your need. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, teach me the way to financial grace
