LIVING WITH PURPOSE

LIVING WITH PURPOSE Proverbs 19:16-23 Devotional – “You can make many plans, but the LORD's purpose will prevail” (v. 21 NLT) Living on purpose is the only way to really live; everything else just merely exists. Most people struggle with these three questions in life; WHO AM I? (Identity); WHY AM I MADE? (Purpose); WHAT IS MY PLACE IN LIFE? (Impact). The answers to these entire questions are found in five Gods purpose for you. Now that you know God’s purpose for your life, it is important you live in it. For you not to drift away from the most important things of life, it is important to develop a purpose statement for your life and regularly review it. This is a statement that summarizes God’s purpose for your life (Psalm 39:11). It is a statement that point the direction of your life (Proverbs 4:26). MEDITATION

MEDITATION

Joshua 1:1-10
Devotional- “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success”  (V. 8)

The act of meditation is one of the strong virtues that empower man to be able to create his desires. To create is to bring forth what is not in existence in your life. The act of creation is allowing God to use you to bring to pass His promises concerning you and your family. Most people look at others better than them when they can't create what others are creating (John 14:12, Philippians 4:10). The truth is that there is nothing God is doing through anyone that He can not do through you.

God said to Joshua, he will need to learn how to create his own prosperity and success. The way to it is by meditation. The mystery of meditation is the fact that it allows us to drink of the spirit of an information. This means you receive the ability to perform that information (Psalms 119:97-100). Anytime you are meditating over any matter, you are digging deep and searching out the hidden mysteries of that information (Psalms 42:7). That way our spirit will open up and connect with the spirit in the information (John 6:63).

It is when the spirit in an information access your spirit that you find the strength to act on it (Ezekiel 2:2). So the act of meditation releases grace on us to act out what we study. People will only have certificate for employment if they are not giving to meditation over their studies. Meditation over the word of God empowers you to be a doer of the word (Psalms 119:97-99).  Friend, giving yourself to meditation makes one act in faith to create his desires. This makes you to start to make meaningful progress. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to be committed to meditation over your word.

“UNTIL THE SPIRIT OF A WORD ENTERS YOU, YOU WILL NOT REALLY ACT ON IT”
