MAKING GOD HAPPY

MAKING GOD HAPPY Numbers 6:22-27 Devotional:- “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (V. 25 NLT) One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time (Job 1:8). Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation (Genesis 6:8). We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him. To make God happy, we must love Him supremely (Luke 14:26). No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9). To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. Noah trusted Him and built an arc even on a dry land (Hebrew 11:7). Though, he had never seen rain before yet believed God and trusted Him compl...

MEDITATION

MEDITATION

Joshua 1:1-10
Devotional- “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success”  (V. 8)

The act of meditation is one of the strong virtues that empower man to be able to create his desires. To create is to bring forth what is not in existence in your life. The act of creation is allowing God to use you to bring to pass His promises concerning you and your family. Most people look at others better than them when they can't create what others are creating (John 14:12, Philippians 4:10). The truth is that there is nothing God is doing through anyone that He can not do through you.

God said to Joshua, he will need to learn how to create his own prosperity and success. The way to it is by meditation. The mystery of meditation is the fact that it allows us to drink of the spirit of an information. This means you receive the ability to perform that information (Psalms 119:97-100). Anytime you are meditating over any matter, you are digging deep and searching out the hidden mysteries of that information (Psalms 42:7). That way our spirit will open up and connect with the spirit in the information (John 6:63).

It is when the spirit in an information access your spirit that you find the strength to act on it (Ezekiel 2:2). So the act of meditation releases grace on us to act out what we study. People will only have certificate for employment if they are not giving to meditation over their studies. Meditation over the word of God empowers you to be a doer of the word (Psalms 119:97-99).  Friend, giving yourself to meditation makes one act in faith to create his desires. This makes you to start to make meaningful progress. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to be committed to meditation over your word.

“UNTIL THE SPIRIT OF A WORD ENTERS YOU, YOU WILL NOT REALLY ACT ON IT”
