THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. God is starting a brand-new thing with you. He is giving you new experiences of success and breakthrough. You need to lea...

LITTLE BEGINNING

LITTLE BEGINNING

Matthew 14:13-21
Devotional-“And they said to Him, "We have here only five loaves and two fish."”  (V. 17)

Creating achievement and success demand the wisdom of little beginning. Those who put their trust in money will have many frustrations. This is because it is not always available enough to start most projects. That is why your hope should not be in money, but in the living God who can provide all things.

Jesus had compassion to feed thousands of people but what was just available were five loaves of bread and two fishes. Most people will look at this with “not enough” mentality but Jesus has “it is enough to start with” mentality. If you don't have “it is enough to start with" mentality, you will always be afraid to step into great things. Jesus lifted the little to God in thanksgiving and gave the disciples to share. When you are grateful for the little, it will keep flowing (Psalms 67:5-7). Thanksgiving get God involved in our matter (John 11:40-44). As they were sharing it, the bakery of heaven was supplying.

Friend, stop waiting for money for steps of faith to be taken. Believe in the ability of God to provide. Be thankful for the little, it is the beginning of abundance. When you are sure God is leading you to embark on a project or a transaction, thank Him for the little and step out (Zechariah 4:10). Just obey the Lord (John 2:1-10). Have the mentality of “it is enough”. When God is added to it, you will see God in action and you will have surplus in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always believe you for my supply

“WHEN THANKSGIVING IS ADDED TO LITTLE, GOD WILL TURN IT TO SURPLUS”
