  DON’T BLAME GOD James 1:12-20 Devotional:- “And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, "God is tempting me." God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else” (V. 13) NLT Today, there is so much confusion the enemy places in the heart of men to make them feel that God hate them. So, when people are under the pressure of the flesh to sin, they say “God is tempting me”. When people are weak, they are going to face temptation through their flesh. It wil be wrong to say God is tempting you with sickness or troubles. Yes, God knows about it but He only allows it when we have been warned repeatedly and we refuse to change.   HE NEVER CONDEMNS John 8:1-11  Devotional:- “She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”” (V. 11) NKJV One of the tricks the devil often used against man is to make us feel condemned. To be condemned is a feeling of self-judgment. It is the act of judging oneself to death when God has not. A man with condemnation cannot be bold or courageous. He cannot exercise faith. He cannot take a risk and so cannot find it easy to succeed. The truth is that God does not condemn man. So it is like man to feel condemned, and it is the handiwork of the devil. It was said about Jesus, “for God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).  God has appointed Jesus to judge the earth.   NEVER FORGOTTEN Isaiah 49:13-23  Devotional:- “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you” (V. 15) NKJV Delays in some situations of life could sometimes make one feel forgotten. This could make anyone feel neglected and hated. Have you ever been in a situation where everyone was served but you alone were forgotten? This could bring a big embarrassment. But God cannot make such a mistake. We view Him as someone we have to really beg to ever experience His favour or help. The truth is that there are several reasons responsible for this. One of them is that man, by his nature, could reject a fellow man. So when we think of coming to God or returning to Him, we feel in our mind that we are too bad to be accepted. We need to understand that our feelings about God cannot be the best way to describe Him, like His word. Even though we feel like that, yet, the word of God, which is the truth, says, whoever comes to Him, He will never reject.   A BELOVED Romans 9:23-26  Devotional:- “I will call them my people who are not my people, and her beloved who was not beloved.” (V. 25) When a man lacks true lovers around him, he is bound to go through some frustrating experiences and discouragement. During the period of challenges, you will know that even those who say they love you are rather pretenders who come around you only for what they will get from you. When a man is going through a trying situation, people you expect to come around and show some love and level of understanding sometimes desert him.   OUR REDEEMER Colossians 2:9-18  Devotional:- “In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”(V. 14) No life living under the power of curses can by any means prosper. This is because curses have the power to destroy the strength to prosper. When it is said that a man is cursed, it means a word was spoken to him, and this word follows him to pull him down wherever he goes.   GOOD SHEPHERD John 10:11-16  Devotional:- "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gave his life for the sheep”. (V. 11) Shepherds are one of the most caring people on earth. They value the lives of the sheep. They risk their life many times to save the life of the sheep. They follow the sheep wherever they go and lead them To green grass where they enjoy fresh food for their nourishment (Psalms 23:1-6). Their presence comforts and secures the sheep.   A HEALER Isaiah 53:1-10  Devotional:- “...the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His strips we healed.” (V. 5) It is of great importance to know that the love of God for us brought our healing. When people are sick, it takes careful, loving treatment to bring them to their healing. Sickness itself is a product of sin and a by-product of condemnation and frustration. When Jesus came here on earth, one of the things He dealt with on behalf of man was sickness. Before Adam and Eve sinned, there was no record that they were sick like the same with other patriarchs. This is because these people walked in the righteousness of God. They walked in uprightness of mind with God. So the devil can't afflict them with any form of sickness.   SHARING YOUR FEELING Hebrews 4:11-16 Devotional:- “For we do not have an high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness… (V. 15)” It is not always very easy for people to understand us, especially when we pass through challenges and are weak.   OUR ROCK Psalms 18:1-3 Devotional:- Lord is my rock and my fortress and deliverer…” (V.2) One of the love emblems to us is that He is our rock. He is known as the rock of ages.
