He is always making us to think we don’t have what we need to succeed. That is why most people often think if they have so, so and so then they would have been able to make it. But if we want to face the reality of life, right in our hands and heart lies what can make us succeed. It is true that we need the help and favour of God. But they will only catch up with us when we are us...

GREATEST FATHER

 GREATEST FATHER

John 20:11-18

“Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” (V.17) NKJV

Though there is a great number of males in the world today, there are few true fathers. Men who can be referred to as good fathers are rare. This is the reason for the breeding of terrible children in today's homes. Many children don’t even know what it is to have a father. That is why when God is referred to as our father, it does not interest some of us in any form. We only look at Him as one of those absentee fathers in the world.

In the scripture we read today, Jesus died and resurrected again and purchased us back to God by His blood. The first person He met after His resurrection was Mary Magdalene. He was glad to share with Mary the good news of God becoming our Father through His death. He probably would have expected Mary to jump up, but no response. If the president of your country announces to you that you are now to be taken as his child, your joy definitely shall overflow.

As a good father, He redeemed us from the slave market of the devil. He gave His spirit to us and by this He now dwell in us (1 corinthians 3:16). Every good father cares for his children. And so the Bible teaches that He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Children ask from the father because they expect good fathers to give, and so also God (Matthew 7:11). Do you know that it is costing Him so much to watch over you (Psalms 121:3; 91:11- 12)? Do you know He is planning so greatly for your future (Jeremiah 29:11)? If you are going through a challenge, He is ever with you (Isaiah 43:1-2). Please accept and embrace His fatherhood over you. Be conscious that He is your father, and this will change your entire life forever. If you have no earthly father that cares, God does. Embrace Him, and He will begin to manifest Himself to you as His son.

Prayer: Lord, prove yourfatherhood over me.
