He is always making us to think we don’t have what we need to succeed. That is why most people often think if they have so, so and so then they would have been able to make it. But if we want to face the reality of life, right in our hands and heart lies what can make us succeed. It is true that we need the help and favour of God. But they will only catch up with us when we are us...

OUR ROCK

 OUR ROCK

Psalms 18:1-3
Devotional:- Lord is my rock and my fortress and deliverer…” (V.2)

One of the love emblems to us is that He is our rock. He is known as the rock of ages. Because He loves us, He is always there for us. Rock is a symbol of strength and confidence. The cleft of the rock is always a beautiful place of refuge. Water from the rock is always pure and cool. As part of His love for us, He has become our rock (I Corinthians 10:4). He is the rock of our salvation, of our peace and protection.

The bird eagle lives on the rock above the reach of the enemy. The water on it is refreshing and clean, far above the reach of the dust. The cave of the rock is always very cool and secure, far above the reach of either the arrow of the enemy or the scourging of the sun.

This is who Jesus is for us. We may pass through challenges in this world, but we are sure of our victory because the rock is always there for us. He is our trust. He is our stronghold. He will never reject nor forsake us.

Just learn to put your trust in this rock of ages. Turn to Him any time a trial strikes. In Him you will find comfort. Call upon Him. And He will answer you. You are safe under His clef. Whoever collides with it shall scatter, and whomever it falls on shall be like dust. Anytime you sense the move of the enemy, run to the rock. He is your strength and fortress. Jesus is that rock.

Prayer: Lord, be the rock of my salvation and sustain me in the storm of life.

“EVERY OTHER THING MAY FALL, BUT THE ROCK WILL ALWAYS BE THERE”
