Sometimes our challenges make us lose focus on God. We need to realise that this is the trick of the devil. He only wants to smartly disconnect us from our source. And a river that is disconnected from its source will soon dry up.   Abraham was looking for his own way to make things happen in his life and started losing focus on God by getting another wife to fulfil the promise of God. MY REFUGE

 MY REFUGE

Psalms 46:1-7
Devotional:- "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (V. 1)

It is always very easy for men to say God is not good to them when they have a pressing need. But if you observe it carefully, wisdom will let you always appreciate Him. It is not every one that began this year that is still alive now. Many were faced with challenges greater than themselves and were swallowed up. If you listen to the reasons for their falls, they are not too great.

The truth is that you also have passed through challenges greater than theirs, but God was your refuge. Anytime you run to Him, you will find a hiding place in Him. Even when it looks like the situation wants to swallow you, you still find strength for help in God. Do you know that you have been enjoying His refuge not because you are better but because He loves you? No matter what happens, do not be afraid, your lover is your refuge.

All you need to do is keep drinking from the river from the throne of God, which is the word of God. Always fellowship with His body, the church. And you will always find strength for your soul (Psalms 84:7). Then God shall be in your midst, and you shall not be moved (v.6). His help shall come to you before the end of the year. This coming year is your year of celebration. God shall break all the vessels of the enemy and show you His salvation. He will keep you all through your days (Psalms 91:9-16).

Prayer: Lord, be my refuge forever.
“THERE IS A REFUGE IN GOD STRONGER THAN WHAT ANY ARMY CAN REMOVE”
