 A HEALER


Isaiah 53:1-10 
Devotional:- “...the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His strips we healed.” (V. 5)

It is of great importance to know that the love of God for us brought our healing. When people are sick, it takes careful, loving treatment to bring them to their healing. Sickness itself is a product of sin and a by-product of condemnation and frustration.

When Jesus came here on earth, one of the things He dealt with on behalf of man was sickness. Before Adam and Eve sinned, there was no record that they were sick like the same with other patriarchs. This is because these people walked in the righteousness of God. They walked in uprightness of mind with God. So the devil can't afflict them with any form of sickness.

When Adam and Eve sinned, the land was cursed for their sake (Genesis 3:17-18). The fruitful plant was removed for the thorns and thistles. Medical research proved that most sicknesses come to the human body through what we eat. Sin, therefore, brought the punishment of sickness. That is why you will hear Jesus declaring to the sick that their sins are forgiven (Matthew 9:2).

Do you know that Jesus came to pay for our punishment for sin? Our scripture today says, by His stripes we are healed. So if Jesus was striped it is then for your liberty from sickness. Since your price was paid, now you can claim healing by faith. It will be wrong for Jesus to be stricken and you also be stricken by any form of sickness. It is against the law. Command by faith that the sickness departs. He knows the law, and he will obey you. Don’t keep watching anyone around you sick. Stand on the word for them, and they shall be free.

Prayer: Lord, make me enjoy total liberty from sickness.
“SICKNESS IS A FUNCTION OF IGNORANCE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
