 ATMOSPHERE OF LOVE


l John 4:12-19

Devotional:- “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.“ (V. 18) NKJV


In any environment where love is predominant, such environment will be characterized with liberty. So many people who desire an atmosphere of love today unconsiciously create barriers agaisnt it by not creating a free environment. In the home of some people, though they complain there is no love, they don’t create liberty among themselves.

The scripture we read today says, “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. “A very good portrait of love is the atmosphere God created in the garden of Eden at creation. God wanted love, and so He made it a free relationship. Liberty is not an absence of rules and regulations but the joy of living by the rules without fear. Liberty without laws will surely lead to sin. That time, God will come down in His glory and majesty to play with Adam and Eve. It was sin that brought fear to the relationship (Genesis 3:8-10).

Friend, if you desire an atmosphere of love in your home, office, society or even the church of Jesus Christ, it must not be a place of suspicions, hatred, offences, regular nagging or bike-biting. All of this will only create an atmosphere of fake love and bondage. Many homes experience unfruitfulness since the atmosphere of love is not in place. As soon as love is allowed, God is allowed, and there shall be fruitfulness. Let your spouse be free to you. Let your children be free to relate with you. Let the staff enjoy a level of access to you. Be free with your neighbour. Let love be shared among the brethren (Hebrews 13:1). Then there shall be an atmosphere of love in the house for every good thing to grow.

Your home shall be sweet.

Prayer: Lord, make my life to enjoy all round environment of Love.
