  NEVER FORGOTTEN Isaiah 49:13-23  Devotional:- “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you” (V. 15) NKJV Delays in some situations of life could sometimes make one feel forgotten. This could make anyone feel neglected and hated. Have you ever been in a situation where everyone was served but you alone were forgotten? This could bring a big embarrassment. But God cannot make such a mistake. Before He began serving, you were the one in His mind. His mind is filled with the memory of your love.  The scripture we read today says, even if a mother forgets to nurse her child, which I think is impossible, God said He cannot forget you. If a woman, for example, is far away from a child which has not been weaned, two of them will not find it easy. The baby will soon be crying, and the mother’s breast will soon be heavy and painful.  EXTENT OF LOVE


Luke 10:25-37

“The man answered, "'You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.' And, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"” (V. 27) NLT

It is important to know that love is the seed that brings the harvest of love. So do you want to be loved? then begin to love. Sometimes our situations want to limit the extent of our love to the people around us. But the extent of our love is not to be determined by our situation or circumstance.

The parable we read in the bible today discloses to us the extent of our love. One, to God, secondly, to our neighbour. The bible teaches us to love God with all our heart, soul, strength and mind. This interprets loving God with all that is in us. Loving Him with all our being, with all our doing, with all at our disposal and with all our reasoning. Our love for God, therefore, can never be sufficient. Love Him with all of you.

The Bible also encourages us to love our neighbour as ourselves. In the parable, we see a true demonstration of love by the Samaritan, and He said we should do likewise. Even though we have close people, distant people and strangers around us, in every situation God expects us to put ourselves in their situation and love them. That is doing to them what we want others to do to us.

If only we could treat others the way we love to be treated, then we would have given our best in love. As much as wickedness and corruption are growing, the Bible teaches us to love.

Prayer: Lord, help me to love indeed.

“THE EXTENT OF YOUR LOVE TO OTHERS IS THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
