DON'T BLAME GOD

DON’T BLAME GOD James 1:12-20 Devotional:- “And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, "God is tempting me." God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else” (V. 13) NLT Today, there is so much confusion the enemy places in the heart of men to make them feel that God hate them. So, when people are under the pressure of the flesh to sin, they say “God is tempting me”. When people are weak, they are going to face temptation through their flesh. It wil be wrong to say God is tempting you with sickness or troubles. Yes, God knows about it but He only allows it when we have been warned repeatedly and we refuse to change. He disciplines, but it is necessary for us to know that God is not the author of evil, that is the work of the devil (Hebrews 12:6; Matthew 4:24).  There is a difference between a test and temptation. To test means to examine or observe if someone is capable of doing something. To tempt means to entice or lure someone into doing some...

PROOF OF GOD

 PROOF OF GOD

I John 4:12-16
Devotional:- “No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us…”(V. 12)

So many people today prove to be Godly. This is because it is becoming a noble thing to be Godly. This is the effect of the expansion of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But many people have been trapped and disappointed by depending on the so-called Christian Brother or Sister syndrome. This is because we expect everyone who professes to be Christian and born again to just be honest and faithful. So we conclude on them because they are members orelders or pastors of the church.

But the Bible did not tell us that we will know them by their name or attendance in the church, but by their fruits (Matthew 7:15- 21). No man can give what he does not have. Anytime he wants to do so, he will give you frustration. What, therefore, is the proof of Godliness? It is love. If you observe the fruits of the spirit in the Bible, it is number one (Galatians 5:22). The scripture we read to say, “if we love one another God abides in us… and he who abides in love abides in God.

Friend, beware of wolves among the sheep. There is a need for each of us to check ifwe truly have God. This is by observing the way we love others. Observe your motive for ministering in the church as a worker. In any relationship, a sincere man is out to give and not to get. But when all is for getting, the going becomes difficult (Mathew 6:33). Your change shall come.

Prayer: Lord, put your true love in me.
“YOU CANNOT TRULY BE GODLY AND NOT BE LOVING”
