LOOK FOR IT  1 Samuel 9:6-20 “But as for your donkeys that were lost three days ago, do not be anxious about them, for they have been found. And on whom is all the desire of Israel? Is it not on you and on all your father's house?” (V.20). Someone said, "Gold is everywhere, but only a few people sees it”. Life is all about finding what you are looking for. If you find what you are not looking for, you may not value it. And so, it might easily be lost in your hand. Those who see and gain opportunities are those who look and prepare for them. Saul was a mer...

PRESENCE OF GOD

PRESENCE OF GOD

Scripture Reading: Acts 16:20-31
Devotional:- “Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed” (V. 26)

Wherever God is praised, His presence will always be there. This is because He inhabit the praises of His people (Psalms 22:3). God gives attention to His praises. In other words, praises is an invitation that God cannot ignore, especially when it comes from a right heart (Psalms 24:3-4). If any one wants to keep the presence of God with him or herself, the secret is praises.

Paul and Silas were on their mission field for God in Philippi. As the custom of the devil is, he entered some people to stand against them and they were put in prison. But in the middle of the night, Paul and Silas prayed and began to sing praises unto God. This action brought the presence of God into the prison. The prison foundation began to shake. Since no door could lock against God, all the prison doors were flared opened and all the prisoner’s chain were loosed (2 Corinthians 3:17).

Friend, all this happened because the servants of God prayed and sang praises to God. The presence of the Lord came into the prison and set everyone free. Whatever cage of life you may find yourself, learn to embark on praise galore. The Lord will step into your situations and destroy all factors of limitations. The Lord will fight for you and no one will hinder you anymore. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen me to praise you in my situation.

DOMINION

DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

WAYS ON WATER Exodus 14:10-22 Devotional:- “So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.” (v. 22) NKJV      The enemy's trick in the lives of so many people today is to make them believe that they have come to their crossroads and that the road has ended. So many always agree with this deceptive thought, which leads to their frustrations. The enemy makes them look at situations around them as evidence of his words. So, many people easily agree with the devil and become victims of his deceit.
