  KINDNESS Hebrews 13:1-9 Devotional:- “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels” (v.2) NKJV The season we are in is a season of strangers, and close friends will come to locate you. You will find many in need of your assistance. God’s words teach us to be of assistance to such people. Even though we live in a very dangerous and delicate world, where so many unbelievable atrocities have been committed. Yet it does not mean we should completely neglect the instruction of this part of the scripture. We only need to obey God with wisdom. We are not to turn people away sharply; we only need to learn to discern what kind of people are coming around us. We also need to be wise not to disclose or open our hidden places to strangers. OBEY THE LORD 

Scripture Reading: 1 John 3:1-5
Devotional:- “And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure” (V. 3)

    The act of obedience to God is an act of love and the act of love is an act of worship. A child that is always obeying the parents enjoys the favour of the parents. So, also as we obey the Lord in all that we do we gain the favour of God (Psalms 5:12). So, singing songs of praises to God while we are disobeying Him is not worship.

The word of God says, if you love me, you will obey my commandment (John 14:15). The word of God says, this is the love of God, that we keep His commandment. The importance of we keeping His commandment is that He guides us into His way of favour and we willingly follow Him to our blessings (Isaiah 48:17). The instructions of the Lord is for our good (Isaiah 1:19). The challenge with man is that the devil often wants him to feel that the way of God is not pleasurable.

Friend, we need to ask for the grace of God to help us to always obey the instructions of the Lord. This is love and this is faith. Every moment of our lives, we should allow the Holy Spirit to guide us (Proverbs 3:5-6). We should not put God’s instructions aside. He knows more than we do and He can lead us to success. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to always obey you in all my ways.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
