FLOATING AXE Devotional:- 2 Kings 6:1-7 “So the man of God said, "Where did it fall?" And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float’’ (V.6) NKJV  Sometimes when we read about some great wonders of God in the Bible, something makes us feel it was because the people were very special. But we need to know that they are men of like passion (James 5:17-18). They were just exactly like we are, but they were only men of faith. This makes God to work wonders through them. The sons of the prophet needed a big place of dwelling. So they decide to cut trees to make a new home. Thank God they requested that Elisha should go with them. As they were cutting the trees, the axe head fell into the deep river. And the man of God asked the Holy Spirit for what to do. SAVED FOR PRAISES

Scripture Reading: 1 Peter 2:4-10
Devotional:- “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (V. 9)

    God saved us that we might live a praiseful life. This is because, that is how He can be part of what we are doing to fulfill our assignments on earth. If God is not part of what we are doing, then the enemy is bound to see the loopholes to have his way. That way, he has hindered many from fulfilling their destiny. You will fulfill your destiny in Jesus name.

The word of God talked about the greatness of our destiny. In our destiny, God sees us as a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation and His own special people. The purpose of it all is that our lives might bring praises to His name. It is when our life brings praises to the name of God, that God is perfecting His plan in the world. It is therefore important that we allow the Holy Spirit to make us vessels of His praises.

When Jesus says God is looking for those who will worship Him, He is simply looking for those who will open up to Him through praises and He can work through them. So, make up your mind to make God glad. This is by opening up to Him in praise (Revelation 3:20). That will give Him the permission to join with you in your journey. And your life will at last result to testimonies. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, let my life be for your praises.

“A PRAISEFUL BELIEVER WILL ALWAYS JOURNEY WITH GOD”

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
