TRANSFORMED BY TROUBLE 2 Corinthians 4:7-18 Devotional:- “For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!” (V. 17) NLT  God has a purpose behind every problem. God depends more on circumstances to grow our character than reading the Bible; this is because we have challenging circumstances twenty four seven. The word of God made us to see challenges in our life as normal (1 Peter 4:18). Your deepest expression of worship is mostly in the darkest days. It is during suffering that we learn to pray our most authentic, heart-felt and honest prayers to God (James 5:16). God would have kept Jeremiah from the throne to the pit, Joseph from been thrown into the jail, Paul from been shipwrecked or the three Hebrew from been thrown into the fire but he left those problems to himself. PRESERVED SEED

Scripture Reading: Malachi 2:1-7
Devotional:- “If you will not hear, And if you will not take it to heart, To give glory to My name," Says the Lord of hosts, "I will send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, Because you do not take it to heart” (V. 2)

    The seed of a man or a woman contain the power of the future. A single seed could contain a tree. The trouble in the life of most people is the problem of the corruption of their seed. The devil having known the power of seed to the future and destiny of a man, seeks to always destroy the seed. A man’s labour is his seed for wages. A student time of study is the seed for success in the examination hall. Just like the capital invested plus wise labour are seed for the profit of a business man. Children are also seed for the future of a family.

The word of God says, when people are not praiseful, they allow their blessings to be cursed. When any blessing is cursed, the blessing will definitely turn to a curse. We saw in the scripture that what makes a man's blessing to be cursed is lack of praises. When the presence of God is not with a man at the time of sowing, the seed will be cursed and the harvest will be meaningless.

 Friend, if you want your blessings to be preserved for future bountiful harvest, then, you need to take it to heart to live a praiseful life - a life that is always thankful to God. Time of labour is not always pleasant but a wise man will sow with joy (2 Corinthians 9:7). This is the way to please God in our labour and our future harvest can be guarantee. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, nothing will tamper with my seed of joy in Jesus name.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
