  TIME OF CELEBRATION  2 Samuel 6:11-23 Devotional:- “Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod” (V. 14) NKJV As much as this season is tagged with much celebration, the enemy often tries to see how he could poison the joy of many people to remove them from the list of people who will celebrate. It will be wisdom for you to know that happiness and sorrow are a choice. I will advise you to choose to rejoice in hope and leave sorrow for the enemy (Romans 5:22). In the scripture we read today, David and all the people were in a mood of celebration because of the advent of the ark of the Lord. But a lady could not see what was worth celebrating, and she took offence at David’s elegant celebration. And she remains barren till her death. Friend, if the coming of the ark of the Lord is sufficient to lose celebration, how much more the coming of Christ, the Son of God. Don’t let the devil push you to sorrow corner in a time like this. INVOLVING GOD

Scripture Reading: 2 Chronicles 20:14-30
Devotional:- “Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated” (V. 22)

    God had made man from the beginning to be a free moral agent. Which means we are created to make choices. God does not get involve directly when man is making a choice because He has created in us the system to be able to make choices. When we are faced with any trouble, we make choices of where to receive help and who to involve in the battles of life.

Judah was confronted by three nations in battle. They see themselves inadequate, so they sought the Lord. This is what happen when we praise the Lord. We are praising Him because of who He has been to us and what we know He can do for us (Exodus 15:1-11). As the children of God obeyed the Lord to praise Him, God set ambush against their enemy and they destroy themselves. This is what happens whenever we praise God.

Praises is getting God involve in your battle. He who take to fear get the devil involve, please learn to get God involve. Whenever you are giving praises to God, He will join you (Psalms 22:1-3). God often send angels to bring answer to prayers but He get involve when you choose to give Him praises even in the midst of your battle. That is why it is dangerous when a child of God is not praiseful. It is wisdom to live a praiseful life. It will get God involved in your affairs. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me understanding to always get you involve in my matters.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
