  DESIGNED TO SERVE GOD Psalm 139:13-18 Devotional:- “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!” (V. 16 NLT)   God designed and formed you to fit into what He wants you to do to serve Him. The intended function determines the form of a building, so also your life. You are the way you are because you were made for specific ministry (Ephesians 2:10) Our scripture today simply means nothing that happens in your life is insignificant. God will never waste any ability unless He intend to use it for His glory (1 Peter 2:9) Before God will give you any assignment, He must have packaged you for it. This packaging is what we call shape (Jeremiah 1:5). Let us look at the meaning of each letter in your shape. The ‘S’ represents Spiritual gifts. These are special God-empowered abilities for serving Him, giving only to believers (1 Cor. 2:14). These gift cannot be bought because they are given by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:11). IT PLEASES GOD

Scripture Reading: Psalms 69:30-36
Devotional:- “This also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bull, Which has horns and hooves” (V. 31)

    Praises make a man’s life to please God. This is because praises involve humility and the fear of the Lord (Psalms 25:9-14). Praises open the door of the life of a man to God. Praises make God to be enthroned in the life of a man (Psalms 22:3). Praises make God to guide a man into his destiny (Acts 13:2). Having all of these experiences make a man to please the Lord in praises.

The Psalmist says, I will praise the name of the Lord with a song and magnify Him with thanksgiving. This also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bull. In other word, a sacrifice of praises is more pleasing to God. The word of God says our worship become reasonable or acceptable when we praise Him from a surrendered heart (Romans 12:1). So, praises is an act of righteousness before the Lord.

The word of God says, when a man’s way pleases the Lord, even his enemy will be at peace with him (Proverbs 16:17). That is why the Bible says, if God be for us, who can be against us (Romans 8:31). If praises is therefore what makes us please God, then sorrow and anxiety makes us displease God (2 Corinthians 10:12). So, chose to always praise God and your ways will always be pleasing to God. So that He can make your way prosperous. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, let your praises terminate all that displeases you in my life.

“GOD WILL ALWAYS GIVE HIS BEST TO A MAN THAT PLEASES HIM ALWAYS”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
