  DESIGNED TO SERVE GOD Psalm 139:13-18 Devotional:- “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!” (V. 16 NLT)   God designed and formed you to fit into what He wants you to do to serve Him. The intended function determines the form of a building, so also your life. You are the way you are because you were made for specific ministry (Ephesians 2:10) Our scripture today simply means nothing that happens in your life is insignificant. God will never waste any ability unless He intend to use it for His glory (1 Peter 2:9) Before God will give you any assignment, He must have packaged you for it. This packaging is what we call shape (Jeremiah 1:5). Let us look at the meaning of each letter in your shape. The ‘S’ represents Spiritual gifts. These are special God-empowered abilities for serving Him, giving only to believers (1 Cor. 2:14). These gift cannot be bought because they are given by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:11). GRATEFUL HEART 

Scripture Reading: Psalms 100:1-5
Devotional:- “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name” (V. 4)

     Gratitude is one of the attitudes of mature people. Gratitude is an attitude that proves a man to be wise. As simple as gratitude is, so also as difficult as it could be for many people to demonstrate. The truth is that, the praise of God demands that we are thankful and to be thankful we will need a grateful heart.

The word of God commands us to be thankful unto God (Psalm 100:4; 1 Thessalonians 5:18). Disobedience to this often leads to barrenness and stagnancy (2 Samuel 6:20-23; Malachi 2:1-2). The progresses some ought to have made are hindered by ingratitude. So many people sing praises to God daily but they are not thankful (Matthew 15:7-9). A grateful heart is a heart that is humble to appreciate what God is doing. People lack a grateful heart because they are highly ambitious. Their plans are higher than that of God. So, whatever God is doing is not appreciated.

Friend, God’s plan for you is good and He has the best time to bring them to manifestation (Jeremiah 29:11). Comparing yourself with others is not wisdom (2 Corinthians 10:12). No matter how great is your desire, wisdom demands that you take one step after the other to get there. So, every little step should be appreciated and soon you will get to your place (1 Peter 5:6). And everyone will rejoice with you in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to be humble to be grateful

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
