DEFINE PLEASURE  Proverbs 21:12-21 Devotional:- “He who loves pleasure will be a poor man; He who loves wine and oil will not be rich.” (v. 17) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional DEFINE PLEASURE Support Us Proverbs 21:12-21 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com There is nothing wrong with pleasure, but there is a need to define what it means in a way that it will not bring destruction to you. Pleasure to most people means idleness, sleeping, jesting, watching T.V and all sorts of films, extravagant spending at beer parlous and hotels, eating in all the city kitchens and to some it is just travelling all around. The truth is that none of those things are real pleasure. If those things are what you call pleasures, then, no matter how much you have now, poverty and sorrow are on the way. INCREASED HARVEST

INCREASED HARVEST

Scripture Reading: Psalms 67:1-7
Devotional:- “Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us” (V. 6)

When people have a seed to sow, they are happy because they have the expectation of a coming harvest. But sometimes people are disappointed that the harvest does not match their expectation. This is because the enemy destroys the process of their harvest by planting weeds into their wheat. The harvest here could mean all good expectation.

A powerful weapon of increase of harvest is praises. When a Sower is praiseful, the word of God says the ground will yield her increase for him/her. This is because the presence of the Lord will be with the seed and the ground must give her best (Psalms 65:11).

Man has no power over germination and increase of harvest. We can do our best to add fertilizer but God determines the state of the harvest (1 Corinthians 3:6-7). Friend, to start seeing increase in all areas of your life, you need to bring the presence of the Lord through praises (Psalms 22:3). And your path will have abundance (Psalm 65:11). Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, launch me into increase as I praise you daily.
