WAITING ON THE LORD

WAITING ON THE LORD 2 Samuel 5:1-10 Devotional:- “David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years” (v.4) NKJV One of the good virtues of God we must always appreciate is His faithfulness. God is not a man that will lie; whatever He has said in His word, He is able to do and He shall do. You can always plug yourself into His promises as much as you work in His covenants. I always tell people never to think God’s word is written only to some specific persons we hear or read about in the Bible. The word of God is the standard practice and programme of God. They were only privileged to be the ones to receive the word at their time, but God is still the same, and so is His word. In claiming the word of God, you must learn to be able to patiently wait. People who will retain their joy must add this virtue to their life (Hebrews 6:12). Our scripture today told us of the installation of David as king, but that was a promise he received from God when he was about 1...

STRONG IMMUNE SYSTEM

STRONG IMMUNE SYSTEM

Scripture Reading: Proverbs 17:19-24
Devotional:- “A merry heart does good, like medicine,  But a broken spirit dries the bones” (V. 22)

One of the struggles people have on the earth in all ages is health. No one can have a good time in this word with a bad health. This is because the body came from the earth and as it grows, it will be decomposing back to the original state. That is why you must live by faith in the word of God. The word of God says “As your days are, so shall your strength be (Deuteronomy 33:25). By this you will keep living strong because your immune system grows strong enough to keep you healthy.

The word of God says, “A merry heart does well like medicine” this is talking about the function of an effective immune system. This is possible only by a merry heart which is a product of praises. So, living a praiseful life makes your immune system strong enough to keep you healthy. This is the secret that kept the patriarch of faith in health (Romans 4:18-20).

Friend, the world will not tell you this, but this is the revelation of the word of God. Praise will keep your heart merry. Praises will make a merry heart strong. This will be, because God is involved in the state of the heart and the immune system (Palms 22:3). You will keep growing stronger in Jesus name. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, ordain my heart for your praise to live above sickness.

“PRAISES MAKES YOU STRONGER THAN SICKNESS”
