  DESIGNED TO SERVE GOD Psalm 139:13-18 Devotional:- “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!” (V. 16 NLT)   God designed and formed you to fit into what He wants you to do to serve Him. The intended function determines the form of a building, so also your life. You are the way you are because you were made for specific ministry (Ephesians 2:10) Our scripture today simply means nothing that happens in your life is insignificant. God will never waste any ability unless He intend to use it for His glory (1 Peter 2:9) Before God will give you any assignment, He must have packaged you for it. This packaging is what we call shape (Jeremiah 1:5). Let us look at the meaning of each letter in your shape. The ‘S’ represents Spiritual gifts. These are special God-empowered abilities for serving Him, giving only to believers (1 Cor. 2:14). These gift cannot be bought because they are given by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:11). THANKFUL HEART

Scripture Reading: Luke 17:11-19
Devotional:- “Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?" (V. 18)

    One of the attitudes of encouragement is thankfulness. The reason many don't have a thankful heart is because their expectations is higher than what they are experiencing. They do not appreciate the place of gradual growth or growing by labour (Proverbs 13:11). Most people don't want to climb but jump. God can decide to bless us abundantly but we must thank Him for whatever He is doing in our lives per time.

The ten lepers that came to Jesus were all cleansed by the power of God, but only one out of the ten came back to thank the Lord. Jesus took notice of it and blessed him.

Friend, anytime you are feeling like thanking the Lord, express yourself to Him. Even when you don't see any reasons to do that, yet give Him thanks (1 Thessalonian 5:18). When you have a grateful heart, you will always stay encouraged. We should stop waiting for manna but love to labour to experience His power. If there are expectations yet to be delivered, God isn't at fault, so thank Him for the ones He has done, the one He is doing and you will find courage to receive the coming one. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me a thankful heart.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
