LIVING WITH VISION

LIVING WTH VISION Proverbs 29:17-25  Devotional:- “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he” (v. 18) KJV People may not be able to enjoy the best of God’s love until they live with a vision. God only releases provision for a vision. If you have your vision of life, and you are ready to pursue it, then you can be too sure of a glorious tomorrow. This is because God will do everything to see to the fulfilment of your vision. All God-given visions are capable of building a great destiny. Vision is an insight into the plan and programme of God for your life. Since it has to do with insight, it can only be revealed or unfolded. So it will take waiting on the Lord to receive the revelation of God concerning your life (Habakkuk 2:1). Waiting here simply means consciously standing in God’s presence to see into His mind for you. God’s vision for His children are in dieverse ways. MENTALITY OF DELAY

MENTALITY OF DELAY

Scripture Reading: Proverbs 13:5-18
Devotional:- “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life” (V. 12)

A strong weapon in the hand of the enemy to discourage many people is the mentality of delay. We don't always consider the God factor when we think of timing. Though we often don't have anything to do to alter divine agenda, yet we have delay mentality to explain it away. There is no one that feel delayed that will not be discouraged.

The word of God says ‘when hope is differed it makes the heart sick’ But when the heart is sick such life will be sick. That is why, we need to strongly consider what is happening and what to do when we feel delayed instead of getting discouraged.

Delay may actually be as a result of the activities of the enemy. But when we have put our strength of faith together and are yet not able drive through, we the need to know that we are delayed for some reasons. It could be because God want us to grow stronger. It could be because we are not able to manage what we are expecting or we are not in the right timing for it (Deuteronomy 8:2-3). No one should relax in delay, yet no one should break his /her faith in God because of delay.

In God's way sometimes we have to wait for His promises. When we have done all we need to do (Hebrew 6:12). Let us humble ourselves to take to instructions from the Lord and obey Him (1 Peter 5:6). Don't tear down your Christians life in compromise. Encourage yourself. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen me in my waiting time.

“HE THAT WILL NOT WAIT WILL WASTE”
