  GREATEST FATHER John 20:11-18 “Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” (V.17) NKJV   Though there is a great number of males in the world today, there are few true fathers. Men who can be referred to as good fathers are rare. This is the reason for the breeding of terrible children in today's homes. Many children don’t even know what it is to have a father. That is why when God is referred to as our father, it does not interest some of us in any form. We only look at Him as one of those absentee fathers in the world. In the scripture we read today, Jesus died and resurrected again and purchased us back to God by His blood. The first person He met after His resurrection was Mary Magdalene. PRESENCE OF GOD

Scripture Reading: Psalms 16:1-11
Devotional:- “I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved” (V. 8)

    Another factor of encouragement is the presence of the Lord. When you are sure that the great God is with you in your journey, then you will be courageous. God has to encourage Jacob and assure him of His presence (Genesis 28:15). He did the same with Joshua (Joshua 1:5). God did this with many successful leaders in the word of God. You also need the same.

The psalmist said I have set the Lord always before me so that I will not be moved. This is a vital lesson for each of us. To set the Lord before you is to imagine Him with you as the word of God has said it (Joshua 1:5; Matthew 28:20). David said he will not be afraid because the Lord is with Him (Psalm 23:4).

Friend, if God be for you, no one can be against you (Romans 8:31). The world will tell us we are on our own. But the word of God always assure us of the presence of God (John 14:18). It is therefore important you learn to turn this scriptures to picture and always see the Lord with you. That way, you will always be encouraged. Peace!

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
