SHARING YOUR FEELING

SHARING YOUR FEELING Hebrews 4:11-16 Devotional:- “For we do not have an high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness… (V. 15)” It is not always very easy for people to understand us, especially when we pass through challenges and are weak. Even those who want to understand and sympathise could get to a level and turn back. Sometimes, instead of people sympathising with us, they constitute a panel of judges and begin to point accusing fingers at us.  As part of the act of love of Jesus, the scripture we read today says, He sympathises with us in our situation. In other words, He knows exactly what you are going through, both the one you can explain and the one you cannot. He could feel exactly the way you feel. The Bible says, He has suffered as we do. Even if you are struggling with a weakness or a sin, He has also been in the flesh. He knows how painful your feelings are. He cannot reject you, and He identifies with you and still loves you. NEW THINGS

NEW THINGS

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 42:1-9
Devotional:- “Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them." (V. 9)

The way things are going for many today look as though there is nothing good to come again. The truth is that the end of the age is drawing closer each day. But you need to know that there are things God still intend to achieve through the life of His children. It is only those who can position themselves rightly that can find fulfillment of the word of God at last.

For us to prepare ourselves to refuse to give up our faith in the word of God is to keep the Spirit of our hope and desire continuously high in faith of His faithfulness. The word of God said He will not give His glory to others. Our faith in God will not be put to shame (Romans 10:11).

God's word reminded us that the former thing He has promised has come to past. God is set to do a new thing in your life. He is about to show up in your family and finances. He said, you should forget the former things. That is, your suffering and sorrow has come to an end (Romans 8:18-19). God is going to settle your case and make you a testimony forever. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me a brand new testimony in your faithfulness
