WAITING ON THE LORD 2 Samuel 5:1-10 Devotional:- “David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years” (v.4) NKJV One of the good virtues of God we must always appreciate is His faithfulness. God is not a man that will lie; whatever He has said in His word, He is able to do and He shall do. You can always plug yourself into His promises as much as you work in His covenants. I always tell people never to think God’s word is written only to some specific persons we hear or read about in the Bible. The word of God is the standard practice and programme of God. They were only privileged to be the ones to receive the word at their time, but God is still the same, and so is His word. In claiming the word of God, you must learn to be able to patiently wait. People who will retain their joy must add this virtue to their life (Hebrews 6:12). NEW THINGS

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 42:1-9
Devotional:- “Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them." (V. 9)

    The way things are going for many today look as though there is nothing good to come again. The truth is that the end of the age is drawing closer each day. But you need to know that there are things God still intend to achieve through the life of His children. It is only those who can position themselves rightly that can find fulfillment of the word of God at last.

For us to prepare ourselves to refuse to give up our faith in the word of God is to keep the Spirit of our hope and desire continuously high in faith of His faithfulness. The word of God said He will not give His glory to others. Our faith in God will not be put to shame (Romans 10:11).

God's word reminded us that the former thing He has promised has come to past. God is set to do a new thing in your life. He is about to show up in your family and finances. He said, you should forget the former things. That is, your suffering and sorrow has come to an end (Romans 8:18-19). God is going to settle your case and make you a testimony forever. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me a brand new testimony in your faithfulness

Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
