  SETBACK Genesis 39:10-21 Devotional:- “Then Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison” (v.20) NKJV Most people do not yet understand that what we call a setback, a lot of time is a set-up to set us to our top. Setback, as viewed by people, is demotion, but it is rather an opportunity to retreat and re-fire for greater victory. When the purpose of a thing is not known, men are bound to abuse it. Today, we read about Joseph, who was thanking God for being promoted from a slave to a house overseer. He always tried to put his best into his assignment, and by this, he always had joy. At this time, the enemy wanted to damage his testimony by the temptation of sin, but he stood his ground for God (2 Timothy 2:22). But then he faced something like a demotion to prison. NEW THINGS

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 42:1-9
Devotional:- “Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them." (V. 9)

    The way things are going for many today look as though there is nothing good to come again. The truth is that the end of the age is drawing closer each day. But you need to know that there are things God still intend to achieve through the life of His children. It is only those who can position themselves rightly that can find fulfillment of the word of God at last.

For us to prepare ourselves to refuse to give up our faith in the word of God is to keep the Spirit of our hope and desire continuously high in faith of His faithfulness. The word of God said He will not give His glory to others. Our faith in God will not be put to shame (Romans 10:11).

God's word reminded us that the former thing He has promised has come to past. God is set to do a new thing in your life. He is about to show up in your family and finances. He said, you should forget the former things. That is, your suffering and sorrow has come to an end (Romans 8:18-19). God is going to settle your case and make you a testimony forever. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me a brand new testimony in your faithfulness

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
