  SUBMIT TO HIM John 14:12-24  “Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” (V. 23) NKJV   Sometimes on the platform of love, there is nothing men cannot offer to one another. If you truly love a man you will not want to reject or disobey him. You will want to do as much as it is in your capacity. You will not want to turn him down. Can you imagine how strictly you want to keep to an appointment with a loved one? If we have attached so much importance to responding to our lover, how much more God. If you truly love God it will be natural for you to submit to His will. You will not need to argue or ask too many questions. It will be a pleasure submitting to His will. Jesus said in the scripture we read today, if anyone loves me he will keep my words. In other word he will submit or obey my word. FOR THE GOSPEL

Scripture Reading: Luke 5:1-11
Devotional:- “and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, "Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men."” (V. 10)

    God made you to be a demonstration of His glory. The reason for this glory is that your life becomes a witness for Him (Matthew 5:16). When anyone is appointed as an ambassador of a kingdom, they see themselves as highly honored. This is because when you represent a kingdom, you are standing in for the king of that kingdom and you are regarded as the king. So it is with each of us that the Lord has sent.

When Jesus met Peter, he was not really doing well in his business. Peter was dazed by the breakthrough he had when Jesus commanded him. While Peter was celebrating the breakthrough, Jesus told him he has been promoted from catching fish to catching men. He was representing his own fishing business before; he is now to represent the business of the King of kings.

Friend, what an honorable office Jesus has put all of us (John 17:18) Don't play with this great privilege. He that sent us is with us to demonstrate His glory through you as you go with signs and wonders (Mark 16:20). And you shall be blessed. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me grace to succeed in my witnessing for you.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
