  JOYFUL COMPANION  Luke 1:37-45 Devotional:- “For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy” (v.44) NKJV We must know that sooner or later, we will always look like the people we are moving with. God’s word says, he that walks with the wise shall be wise and the companion of fools shall be destroyed (Proverbs 13:20). This means that what we gain from the surroundings of our associates has a very strong influence upon our life. If a man walks with people who don’t know or appreciate joy, he may not also experience joy. We read about the visitation of Mary to Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist. Since two of them carry unique children of divine significance, they both have the Spirit of God in them. This brings about a joyful effect. FOR THE GOSPEL

Scripture Reading: Luke 5:1-11
Devotional:- “and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, "Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men."” (V. 10)

    God made you to be a demonstration of His glory. The reason for this glory is that your life becomes a witness for Him (Matthew 5:16). When anyone is appointed as an ambassador of a kingdom, they see themselves as highly honored. This is because when you represent a kingdom, you are standing in for the king of that kingdom and you are regarded as the king. So it is with each of us that the Lord has sent.

When Jesus met Peter, he was not really doing well in his business. Peter was dazed by the breakthrough he had when Jesus commanded him. While Peter was celebrating the breakthrough, Jesus told him he has been promoted from catching fish to catching men. He was representing his own fishing business before; he is now to represent the business of the King of kings.

Friend, what an honorable office Jesus has put all of us (John 17:18) Don't play with this great privilege. He that sent us is with us to demonstrate His glory through you as you go with signs and wonders (Mark 16:20). And you shall be blessed. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me grace to succeed in my witnessing for you.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
