RULING YOURSELF  Proverbs 25:21-28 Devotional:- “Whoever has no rule over his own spirit is like a city broken down, without walls.” (v. 28) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional RULING YOURSELF Support Us Proverbs 25:21-28 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com   I need to let you know that one of the enemies you must overcome in life is yourself. If not, you cannot successfully rule over anyone in this world. This is enough weapon in the hand of the enemy to keep disqualifying some people from getting to their place of destiny in life.   To rule yourself means to be the one in control of your life. If other people still have to control you before you do well, it means you are a slave in your mind. And that is not the will of God for you. COURAGE

COURAGE

Scripture Reading: Joshua 1:1-9 NKJV
Devotional:- “Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go” (V. 7)

A major virtue in the life of every conqueror is the virtue of courage. This is an act of having faith in one’s ability to face a challenge or situation. A timid can achieve nothing. That is why the word of God said, God has not given us the Spirit of timidity (2 Timothy 1:7). It is our meditation upon the testimony of the word of God that births courage in us (1 Samuel 17:36, Joshua 1:8).

To be encouraged is to locate back your courage. You need to know the source of courage to succeed and overcome in this wicked world. Those who do not know the way of courage will be defeated in every battle of life. In the scripture we read today, God commanded Joshua to be courageous. He showed him the way to courage, which is by meditating in the word of God. It is the information we meditate on that can instill courage in us to act.

Courage is a conviction in our mind of the ability in us to conquer. It is a product of information in which we put our confidence. It is a conclusion in our heart about our strength. That is why our courage should be in the word of God. That is the only sure word (2 Peter 1:19). The ability of the Holy Spirit is in you. You only need to fan it to flame by meditating the word of God (2 Timothy 1:6). And your courage will grow again. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, encourage me by your word

“COURAGE IS A DRIVE IN OUR MIND TO PUSH US TO ACTION”
