  JOYFUL COMPANION  Luke 1:37-45 Devotional:- “For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy” (v.44) NKJV We must know that sooner or later, we will always look like the people we are moving with. God’s word says, he that walks with the wise shall be wise and the companion of fools shall be destroyed (Proverbs 13:20). This means that what we gain from the surroundings of our associates has a very strong influence upon our life. If a man walks with people who don’t know or appreciate joy, he may not also experience joy. We read about the visitation of Mary to Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist. Since two of them carry unique children of divine significance, they both have the Spirit of God in them. This brings about a joyful effect. BE A BLESSING

Scripture Reading: Mark 10:17-31
Devotional:- “Then Peter began to say to Him, "See, we have left all and followed You."”  (V. 28)

    A wonderful way to remain encouraged is by being a blessing. To be a blessing means, you encourage others with what you have. To be a blessing, is to sow the seed of grace into the life of others. A great number of people just don't know what to do with their lives. They just need a little push to move forward in life. Someone need to part with his time, energy, money, gift and special ability to lift up others.

Today, we talked about Peter, John and other disciples of Jesus as though we are talking about spirits, and not humans. God did tremendous things through them (Acts 19:11). This was because, they left all they have, they follow Jesus  and served Him. Peter asked Jesus about their reward and He told them, they will have hundred fold. God is looking for people He will use to reach out to others, let him find you. When you have the opportunity, be a blessing to others using what you have.

It's not a good thing to give out what you don't have or what is not yours. If God is asking us to bless others. He knows we are able. One of the major reasons He made you is to use you to bless others. You are saved to be a blessing (Genesis 12:2-3). Don't slack your hand when you are to be a blessing. Don't complain when it is time to give since your reward shall be multitude (Luke 5:1-11; Malachi 3:10-12; Galatians 6:7-10). Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, ordain me a blessing to my generation 

“A MAN IS EITHER A BLESSING OR A BURDEN”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
