This will serve as a means of courage and hope for us. This makes us know that our challenges are not strange, and not without solutions. Looking into the affairs of such an example also gives us a means of solution.   We need to know that every great one in the word of...

POVERTY IS EVIL

POVERTY IS EVIL

Scripture Reading: Psalms 37:23-31
Devotional:- “I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread” (V.28) NKJV

Please understand that poverty is evil. What is evil is what is not made by the good God but through the cooperation of man with the devil. If a anyone does not know this, he/she will keep cooperating with the devil without knowing.

The psalmist says “the children of the righteous does not beg”. In other word, they are not poor. People are cooperating with the devil to make them poor by remaining in a state of poverty and rejecting knowledge (Hosea 4:6). This happen by lacking understanding; by living with wrong conclusions, by refusing to mix rightly, by not able to apply knowledge and withdrawing to the cage and fate of poverty.

To be able to start living in the blessing of the Lord, there is a need to accept that poverty is an affliction brought bye the devils through our cooperation. We often cooperate without knowing. We are influenced to be poor by our community, friends, and associations. We cooperate through a negative mindset. To move out of something is to relate with a righteous and mighty God who can set us free, so that our understanding will come as we are thought. And poverty will work out of your lives in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, set me free from the cage of poverty.
