  PROMISES Isaiah 55:1-13  Devotional:- “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (V.11) NKJV One thing that is common with lovers are promises. It is part of what a true lover will want to hear. To a true lover, a promise is like a cheque capable of turning into cash. So when people who love us promise us, we cherish the promises. And when we remember them, it gladdens our heart. We even sometime feel happy enough to share it with other friends. One other terrible thing that is common with people is failing to fulfill promises. That is why it will be unwise to marry someone based on mare promises. These failure in promises of people, in some cases, are due to the inadequacy of human strength, or unforeseen circumstances that can overtake the promises, so the promised often feel deceived. SAVED TO BE BLESSED 

Scripture Reading: Galatians 3:10-14
Devotional:- “That the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (V.14 NKJV


    God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to come and save us. Salvation is rescuing someone from destruction. Poverty is a destroyer of life and destiny. Poverty is part of the destructive work of the devil. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil in the life of all His children including poverty (1 John 3:8). That is why He came to the world.

The word of God says “He became a curse for us so that we will not stay under curses any longer” (Galatians 3:13). Jesus came so low for our sake, He became poor so that through His poverty we can be rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). He became poor by coming to live among us. He went through the same experiences like you and I. He came to our level to be able to show us the way out of our situation. If poverty is evil, then Jesus has given us victory over it (John 16:33).

So, settle this in your mind that you are saved to be free financially. So, riches is one of your heritage in Christ Jesus. Don't think in your mind that this is an heresy because we have read it from the Bible the book of the truth. I pray that the eyes of your understanding will be opened that you may see what God has prepared for you in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:17-18). For the fact that your experiences proved negative does not make the word of God to be negative. As a saved soul, the word of God called you a peculiar person (1Peter 2:9). Do not remove your name from the list. You are saved to be blessed and be a blessing (Genesis 12:1-3). Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, open my eyes of understanding to my riches in you.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
