  NOT AUTOMATIC Philippians.1:1-11 Devotional:- “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns” (V.6 NLT) Knowing fully well that spiritual growth is one of your purpose of been on the earth, then you also need to know that developing Christ-like character takes years, it is not automatic. We open to God bit by bit. Discipleship is the process of conforming to Christ (Romans 12:2, Ephesians 4:13). The truth is that the journey to Christ-likeness is a life time journey. Growth involves believing, belonging (through fellowship) and becoming (through discipleship). Every day God want you to become a little more like Him (Colossians 3:10) Today we are interested in speed but God is interested in strength and stability than swiftness (2 Corinthians 3:18). The reason it takes time to grow is because we are slow learner. We often have to relearn a lesson forth or fifty times to reall...

HAVE A MENTOR

Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 4:14-21
Devotional:- “For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel” (V. 15) NKJV


    No matter your profession or discipline, there is a need to identify someone who can mentor you gradually into full success. Mentors are people who have been able to achieve what you are intending to achieve. This will go a long way for you to be able to learn what your parent or master thought you that you did not get. We may read books and get principles but it takes the help of a mentor to get it right in life.
A mentor will expose you to the practical of what you have read in a book and help you to keep solving arising problems. You will be able to learn faster and better than others. It will help you to reduce frustration and multiple failure on your way to success. Been mentored makes you learn commitment and loyalty. It helps you not to waste your life, your money and your energy in the school of failure. It helps you stand shoulder to shoulder with great people and gives you credibility among the people.

Friend, a major reason multitude fails in our generation is because of lack of mentorship. So, while you are planning to make good money, mentorship will make you achieve it faster, better and your goal become more realistic. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, connect me to a true mentor

“NO ONE COME FROM THE SKY, EVERYONE IS BORN BY SOMEONE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
