  WISDOM Luke 21:7-19  Devotional:- “for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.” (V.15) NKJV It is impossible for a man to succeed in this world without wisdom. This is because we are living in a world that is so terrible and perverse. The spirit of the enemy has so much advanced in the children of the world, and we will need a super wisdom to overcome them. But thanks be to God. Wisdom is one of the gifts of love we have from God in the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4-11). The wisdom we have in God is not the earthly wisdom but divine and heavenly. This makes it possible for us to rule on the earth with heavenly wisdom. But you and I must know how to employ this wisdom. This is by asking and giving room for the operation of the Holy Spirit upon our mind. DON’T LOVE MONEY

Scripture Reading: 1 Timothy 6:3-10
Devotional:- “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows” (V. 10) NKJV


    As much as money is important as a means of exchange in the world, as much as we should not cast our love on it. To love money will make a man turn evil. That is why it is important to define what it means to love money. 
Money is so important. God expect us to have dominion over the spirit of money (Genesis 1:28). That is why we should not turn money to an idol or turn our love on it (Matthew 6:24). Building up to be able to acquire is organizing to have dominion over it. This is labouring towards financial freedom. It makes you have the power of choice and able to live as you desire. It helps you to experience open doors. It connects you to people that matters (Proverbs 14:20). Yer God has given us the privilege to control it that it might be used for His glory (Isaiah 42:21; 1 Peter 2:9). When a man's motive is not unto the glory of God, the devil will help him to create ungodly ambition. That is why some sponsor killings.

Friend, understand that this world is not yours. The owner made it for a purpose. These purposes are centered around using what He has given us for His glory, to bless others around us and to take care of yourself. Don't abandon the house of the Lord because of work or business. You will be building a future of emptiness. The very purpose of money for a wise man is to honour God and affect others for His glory (Proverbs 3:9). Our motive should be to use it for the right purposes. Anything out of that will be a trap (Luke 12:15-21). You will not be trapped in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me not be trapped by money.

“YOUR MOTIVE IS THE EVIDENCE OF THE FOCUS OF YOUR LOVE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
