A FRIEND

A FRIEND John 15:9-17  Devotional:- “...but l have called you friends…” (V. 15) In this generation, it is not a common thing to find true friends. This is someone who goes all out to see to your well-being. Someone who wants to identify with you in all situations. Someone who is not feeling fine until he sees you, someone who daily remembers to pray and intercede for you. It can be a terrible thing sometimes when you desire to share your mind with someone, and no one is willing to listen to you, or someone who could offer a little help. Sometimes we could be in need of a little encouragement, but no one to really do it. The people who are supposed to encourage us are the ones who misunderstand us and condemn us. We need to come to the understanding that God is our friend. He is not just your Lord and God. He always wants to listen to you. He is not happy when you are not (Hebrews 4:15). ABUNDANT MENTALITY

ABUNDANT MENTALITY

Scripture Reading: John 6:1-13
Devotional:- “Philip replied, "Even if we work for months, we woundnt have enough money to feed them"” (V.7) NKJV

Be careful not to reduce your life to poverty by the way you think. Remember your life will always go to the way of your thought pattern (Proverbs 23:7). This is because your thought pattern will always direct your action and attitude towards life (Matthew 12:33). If you keep thinking poor, it will be impossible for you to be rich. You are not poor. It is your mind that determines what you attract.

Jesus asked His disciples for an arrangement to feed five thousand congregation who has been learning from Him. The disciples have “it’s not enough mentality” But Jesus cannot see insufficiency. So, He told them to let the people sit in groups. He blessed the little and it was more than enough.

To have abundant mentality is to think big. It is to think abundantly but willing to start small (Zechariah 4:10). If you cannot start small, you cannot become big. Small beginning help us to grow with our business. That is why you must have a big vision but be humble enough to start at your level. No matter how great any vision may be, if you cannot start from where you are, you may not start at all. A success you don't grow, you cannot sustain. Stop looking at your vision as what cannot start small. Even big project are divisible to smaller units, take it one by one and you will end up big. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to arise with what you have given me.
