ACKNOWLEDGING HIM

ACKNOWLEDGING HIM Proverbs 3:1-8  Devotional:- “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (v.6) KJV. To be able to enjoy God’s loving kindness, all of us must learn to always acknowledge God in all our decision-making. This simply means that we recognise Him as our owner and the one who is qualified to instruct us on where to turn. When we gave our lives to Christ, we all confessed Jesus as our Lord. This means we acknowledge Him as the one who has the final decision over our lives. But we often forget to carry Him along in making decisions that will, in the end, have a great adverse effect on our lives. If we are to enjoy the love and the goodness of the Lord, we must learn to acknowledge Him. And this is by patiently asking Him for His instructions for us. The truth is that He will always guide us. He said, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalms 32:8). The truth is that you are gu...

MAKING PROFIT

MAKING PROFIT

Scripture Reading: Proverbs 14:23-29
Devotional:- “Work brings profit, but mere talk leads to poverty” (V. 23) NLT

It's amazing to see how many of us don't think about profit at all. The moment some people sees money, they are just okey. They don't think of if the work and the earning is profitable. So many people doing businesses don't know the difference between capital and profit. What some people called salary is never a good income at all. Yet, they keep doing it.

It is important that you know that lack of profit is unrighteousness (Matthew 25:30). The unprofitable servant was to be casted into hell fire. This is actually because ‘lack’ will make many go to hell than many sins. So many are true followers of Christ but are secretly frustrated and hatting God in the secret of their heart. So many terrible atrocity in the society today are perpetrated by people from Christian home with Christian name. These are people who have no clue to how their financial life will bring joy to them.

Friend, don't let this happen to you. It is important that you look into your business and define your profit. It may be spiritual, moral, relational, but there must also be a financial profit. If anyone is not making profit, God is not to be blamed. It is our carelessness that could turn a business to such.

Sometimes, you are enduring for a time in a particular place, such time is a time of sowing and learning. The truth is that, it should not be forever. Take this to God in prayers. Sit down to think it through. No matter what save 20 percent of your income. Be sure you are making profit. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give the understanding to my profit.

“IT IS YOUR PROFIT THAT DETERMINES YOUR FINANCIAL FUTURE”
