Pleasure to most people means idleness, sleeping, jesting, watching T.V and all sorts of films, extravagant spending at beer parlous and hotels, eating in all the city kitchens and to some it is just travelling all around. The truth is that none of those things are real pleasure. If those things are what you call pleasures, then, no matter how much you have now, poverty and sorrow are on the way. CARRYING HIS WORDS

Jeremiah 1:1-10
Devotional Verse - “Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth” (V. 9)

One of the greatest beauties of fellowshipping regularly in the presence of God is the blessing of having his words in your mouth. When such people open their mouth, the right word naturally flows out. Without this, no one will find it easy to speak the word of God before the crowd or in the public. This is a deep mystery of God that you will be speaking as though a tape or CD is been played from your inside. You cannot also totally explain how you are making up the vocabulary. This is not a manifestation of the act of public speaking. This is God speaking through you.

God said to Jeremiah, I have put my words in your mouth. He said to Ezekiel eat the scroll (Ezekiel 3:1). He said we should open our mouth and He will fill it (Psalms 81:10). He said He will always give us the right word at the right time (Luke 21:14-15). All these are possible only for a man who create time to be with the Lord in fellowship (Acts 4:13).

Friend, you cannot pick this grace by going to school. You need to give yourself to creating time to fellowship with Jesus. It will distinguish you in office and in your trade. And you will stand out for Jesus anywhere. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, put your word in my mouth

“WHEN YOU ARE ONE WITH JESUS, HIS WORD WILL BECOME YOUR WORD”
