STRENGTH IN GOD 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 Devotional:- “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (V4) NKJV      Many Christians today have so much confusion about their strength in God. It has made the church think that a few limited people can demonstrate the strength of God. So, multitudes are weak in strength. Though they come to church, yet in times of challenges, you see them rushing to another Christian whom they know to be stronger in God. Neglecting the fact that a New Testament believer is a potential priest and king for Christ (Revelation 5:10; Mark 16:17).

Devotional Verse -“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (V. 14)


    Everyone who loves to always have the experience of answer to prayers must understand the principle that guides it. We know that the principles of men are different from the principles of God. (Isaiah 55:8-9). That is when our prayers will not be religious or an experience of trial by error.

    The word of God says we will only be sure that our prayer will be answered when we call according to his will. His will here refers to His covenant promises in the word of God. The angels’ of God in charge of answers prayer are only to carry out the promises of the word of God (Psalms 103:20). That is why we must ask in prayer according to the word of God (John 8:29).

    Whenever we are fellowshipping and praying, we should keep it in mind that we must ask according to the word. This is reminding Him of His words of promises. This is applicable to our health, our family, our businesses, our finances or projects. Whenever you are asking God, always remind Him of His words. Then your answers will be guaranteed. This is the beauty of prayer. That means you need to learn to first locate the promises before prayers. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, lead me to the realm of guarantee answered prayers.

And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
