FLOATING AXE

FLOATING AXE Devotional:- 2 Kings 6:1-7 “So the man of God said, "Where did it fall?" And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float’’ (V.6) NKJV  Sometimes when we read about some great wonders of God in the Bible, something makes us feel it was because the people were very special. But we need to know that they are men of like passion (James 5:17-18). They were just exactly like we are, but they were only men of faith. This makes God to work wonders through them. The sons of the prophet needed a big place of dwelling. So they decide to cut trees to make a new home. Thank God they requested that Elisha should go with them. As they were cutting the trees, the axe head fell into the deep river. And the man of God asked the Holy Spirit for what to do. PRAYING IN TONGUES

5 Benefits of Praying in Tongues - Agape Christian Singles' BlogPRAYING IN TONGUES

Jude 20-25
Devotional Verse - “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit”(V.20)

A time of fellowship with God demands that we communicate with our spirit. This is beyond the realm of the mind. This is through meditation in our mind as we pray. This is by focusing and opening our eyes of the spirit to behold the throne of God. Whenever this happens, we become connected with God and we speak in tongue of the spirit.

The word of God says you are building yourself up in the faith whenever we pray in the spirit. In other words, praying in the Holy Spirit makes us build up in our relationship and fellowship with God. Praying in the spirit opens up a direct line between us and God. It makes us groan in our spirit when we pray. This is when the Holy Spirit takes over to help us pray better to God. This makes tremendous power available to us to give us victory as we pray.

However, this experience is limited only to Christians who are filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4). As a child of God, you must not joke with this encounter. You cannot guarantee your total portion in God without the Holy Spirit dwelling in you. Receive the grace. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to always connect with your spirit
