FLOATING AXE Devotional:- 2 Kings 6:1-7 “So the man of God said, "Where did it fall?" And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float’’ (V.6) NKJV  Sometimes when we read about some great wonders of God in the Bible, something makes us feel it was because the people were very special. But we need to know that they are men of like passion (James 5:17-18). They were just exactly like we are, but they were only men of faith. This makes God to work wonders through them. The sons of the prophet needed a big place of dwelling. So they decide to cut trees to make a new home. Thank God they requested that Elisha should go with them. As they were cutting the trees, the axe head fell into the deep river. And the man of God asked the Holy Spirit for what to do. Devotional Verse - “Pray without ceasing” (V. 17)


  
    
    Fellowship with God is the act of relating with God. Any serious relationship will demand consistency and commitment to grow. It is only a growing relationship that can profit the parties involved. It is only a growing relationship that brings us into the best of relationship.

   The word of God commands us to pray without ceasing. This implies that we are committed to our sharing with God. If you have appointed a time to pray, keep to it. This also implies that we consistently keep our communication with the Lord. Some people feel it is impossible to pray without ceasing. To some, they think prayer cannot be combined with other things. To pray without ceasing means, your heart keeps sharing with God. As simple as “Thank you Lord” it’s a prayer. It only demands that your heart is sincerely connected.

    In the midst of sharing in the office your prayer should not stop. “My God will make a way” it’s a prayer. Even in the board meeting “God will take control” it’s a prayer. “The Lord will help us” “All is working for our good”. “I will make it in Jesus Name”. “My God is able” All these are short but powerful declaration prayer that can be on always. Keep committed to your fellowship with God. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, let my heart always be connected with you.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
