  DESIGNED TO SERVE GOD Psalm 139:13-18 Devotional:- “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!” (V. 16 NLT)   God designed and formed you to fit into what He wants you to do to serve Him. The intended function determines the form of a building, so also your life. You are the way you are because you were made for specific ministry (Ephesians 2:10) Our scripture today simply means nothing that happens in your life is insignificant. God will never waste any ability unless He intend to use it for His glory (1 Peter 2:9) Before God will give you any assignment, He must have packaged you for it. This packaging is what we call shape (Jeremiah 1:5). Let us look at the meaning of each letter in your shape. The ‘S’ represents Spiritual gifts. These are special God-empowered abilities for serving Him, giving only to believers (1 Cor. 2:14). These gift cannot be bought because they are given by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:11). Devotional Verse - “Pray without ceasing” (V. 17)


  
    
    Fellowship with God is the act of relating with God. Any serious relationship will demand consistency and commitment to grow. It is only a growing relationship that can profit the parties involved. It is only a growing relationship that brings us into the best of relationship.

   The word of God commands us to pray without ceasing. This implies that we are committed to our sharing with God. If you have appointed a time to pray, keep to it. This also implies that we consistently keep our communication with the Lord. Some people feel it is impossible to pray without ceasing. To some, they think prayer cannot be combined with other things. To pray without ceasing means, your heart keeps sharing with God. As simple as “Thank you Lord” it’s a prayer. It only demands that your heart is sincerely connected.

    In the midst of sharing in the office your prayer should not stop. “My God will make a way” it’s a prayer. Even in the board meeting “God will take control” it’s a prayer. “The Lord will help us” “All is working for our good”. “I will make it in Jesus Name”. “My God is able” All these are short but powerful declaration prayer that can be on always. Keep committed to your fellowship with God. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, let my heart always be connected with you.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
