  GOOD WILL Luke 2:8-14 Devotional:- “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” (V. 14) NKJV A great blessing of God to humanity at the birth of Christ is goodwill. A nation without it is completely under bondage. They cannot claim, nor ask, nor can they have anything from the Lord except by the common grace (Matthew 5:25). This is what the sons of men are before the coming of the Messiah. Men have been living under the pressure and the punishment of sin and the law. Men were governed spiritually by the law they were never capable of obeying. When Jesus came, then came the time of grace. This brought us into the season of the goodwill of God (Ephesians 2:8). Will is what every father writes to give the right of inheritance to each of the children. Before Christ, God’s will was not approachable for men. It was not favorable for a natural man. Devotional Verse - “Pray without ceasing” (V. 17)


  
    
    Fellowship with God is the act of relating with God. Any serious relationship will demand consistency and commitment to grow. It is only a growing relationship that can profit the parties involved. It is only a growing relationship that brings us into the best of relationship.

   The word of God commands us to pray without ceasing. This implies that we are committed to our sharing with God. If you have appointed a time to pray, keep to it. This also implies that we consistently keep our communication with the Lord. Some people feel it is impossible to pray without ceasing. To some, they think prayer cannot be combined with other things. To pray without ceasing means, your heart keeps sharing with God. As simple as “Thank you Lord” it’s a prayer. It only demands that your heart is sincerely connected.

    In the midst of sharing in the office your prayer should not stop. “My God will make a way” it’s a prayer. Even in the board meeting “God will take control” it’s a prayer. “The Lord will help us” “All is working for our good”. “I will make it in Jesus Name”. “My God is able” All these are short but powerful declaration prayer that can be on always. Keep committed to your fellowship with God. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, let my heart always be connected with you.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
