  MAKING GOD HAPPY Numbers 6:22-27 Devotional:- “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (V. 25 NLT) One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time (Job 1:8). Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation (Genesis 6:8). We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him. To make God happy, we must love Him supremely (Luke 14:26). No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9). To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. Devotional Verse - “Pray without ceasing” (V. 17)


  
    
    Fellowship with God is the act of relating with God. Any serious relationship will demand consistency and commitment to grow. It is only a growing relationship that can profit the parties involved. It is only a growing relationship that brings us into the best of relationship.

   The word of God commands us to pray without ceasing. This implies that we are committed to our sharing with God. If you have appointed a time to pray, keep to it. This also implies that we consistently keep our communication with the Lord. Some people feel it is impossible to pray without ceasing. To some, they think prayer cannot be combined with other things. To pray without ceasing means, your heart keeps sharing with God. As simple as “Thank you Lord” it’s a prayer. It only demands that your heart is sincerely connected.

    In the midst of sharing in the office your prayer should not stop. “My God will make a way” it’s a prayer. Even in the board meeting “God will take control” it’s a prayer. “The Lord will help us” “All is working for our good”. “I will make it in Jesus Name”. “My God is able” All these are short but powerful declaration prayer that can be on always. Keep committed to your fellowship with God. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, let my heart always be connected with you.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
