  JOY BEAUTIFIES Proverbs 15:10-20 Devotional:- “A glad heart makes a happy face; a broken heart crushes the spirit” (v.13) NLT It is important that people in this generation realise that joy is one of the secrets of beauty. There is no one who does not love to look beautiful in life; people do so much to preserve their beauty. The truth is that it charms the heart of men. It is a strength for influence. It is a language that both men and women understand. Someone who lacks beauty may also be lacking in the school of favour. Don’t let anyone deceive you that it is not necessary to be beautiful. In this world, the way you look determines the way you will be treated (1 Samuel 16:7). We only need to identify true and godly beauty. God’s word says, “Charm and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain [because it is not lasting], but a woman who reverently and worshipfully fears the Lord, she shall be praised!” (Proverbs 31:30) AMPC. Psalms 85:8-13
Devotional Verse - “I will hear what God the Lord will speak, For He will speak peace To His people and to His saints; But let them not turn back to folly” (V. 8)

   So many people always talk to God in the time of prayers but, many have not learnt how to hear Him. Communication is not complete till there is response. Prayer is monologue to many but it ought to be a dialogue. A prayer life without response from the Lord will be totally frustrating. This has actually been the experience of many.

   The Psalmist says “I will hear what the Lord will speak, for He will speak peace to His people but let them not turn back to folly”. Listening to God demands that you stop asking and just give Him praises. This act of faith to praise God even when you have not heard the answer to your prayers will eventually bring the voice of the Lord. When you are not sure of any words that come unto you, ask for the clarification. Always do this by asking God for a scriptural back up.

  The word of the Lord will always come in form of an idea released into your spirit. It will always make your heart to gain peace. This peace is a product of an agreement between the spirit of God and your spirit. It is like a confirmation to prove that the Lord had spoken. You only must be careful not to turn otherwise. Always obey the Lord and your life will always make progress. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, open my inner ears to hear your words

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
