  OUR HUSBAND Ephesians 5:25-32 Devotional:- “Husbands love your wives Just as Christ also loved the church… “ (V.25) I believe it is a great privilege for a woman to have a husband. This is someone who is referred to as the head of her. Someone who takes responsibility for taking care of her and the entire house, someone who oversees everyone in the home. Women, in most cases, often make their husbands a confidant. This allows them to shift some of their responsibilities to the man of the house. They, on their side, feel relaxed under the umbrella of “at least I am not the husband. In time past, I used to feel cheated as a man when women enjoyed their liberty in the house, and the man carried the burden, until I discovered this truth in the scripture that Jesus is the husband of all Christians, both men and women. Psalms 85:8-13
Devotional Verse - “I will hear what God the Lord will speak, For He will speak peace To His people and to His saints; But let them not turn back to folly” (V. 8)

   So many people always talk to God in the time of prayers but, many have not learnt how to hear Him. Communication is not complete till there is response. Prayer is monologue to many but it ought to be a dialogue. A prayer life without response from the Lord will be totally frustrating. This has actually been the experience of many.

   The Psalmist says “I will hear what the Lord will speak, for He will speak peace to His people but let them not turn back to folly”. Listening to God demands that you stop asking and just give Him praises. This act of faith to praise God even when you have not heard the answer to your prayers will eventually bring the voice of the Lord. When you are not sure of any words that come unto you, ask for the clarification. Always do this by asking God for a scriptural back up.

  The word of the Lord will always come in form of an idea released into your spirit. It will always make your heart to gain peace. This peace is a product of an agreement between the spirit of God and your spirit. It is like a confirmation to prove that the Lord had spoken. You only must be careful not to turn otherwise. Always obey the Lord and your life will always make progress. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, open my inner ears to hear your words

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
