SUCCESS YOUR PURPOSE 2 Timothy 4:1-8 Devotional:- “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing” (V. 8) NLT When a person turns to the Lord, invite Jesus to his/her life, and surrender to Jesus as Lord and saviour, then he/she sincerely becomes a Christian. This is the state many in the church has not attained. Many struggle to surrender their lives to the Lord because they are afraid of failure, not able to trust God to give them success, and their love for the things of this world (1 John 2:15-17). When you sincerely surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your view of success cannot but change. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7). Psalms 85:8-13
Devotional Verse - “I will hear what God the Lord will speak, For He will speak peace To His people and to His saints; But let them not turn back to folly” (V. 8)

   So many people always talk to God in the time of prayers but, many have not learnt how to hear Him. Communication is not complete till there is response. Prayer is monologue to many but it ought to be a dialogue. A prayer life without response from the Lord will be totally frustrating. This has actually been the experience of many.

   The Psalmist says “I will hear what the Lord will speak, for He will speak peace to His people but let them not turn back to folly”. Listening to God demands that you stop asking and just give Him praises. This act of faith to praise God even when you have not heard the answer to your prayers will eventually bring the voice of the Lord. When you are not sure of any words that come unto you, ask for the clarification. Always do this by asking God for a scriptural back up.

  The word of the Lord will always come in form of an idea released into your spirit. It will always make your heart to gain peace. This peace is a product of an agreement between the spirit of God and your spirit. It is like a confirmation to prove that the Lord had spoken. You only must be careful not to turn otherwise. Always obey the Lord and your life will always make progress. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, open my inner ears to hear your words

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
