Contrary to the right principle of life, the young people of this generation have started embarking on what may not profit their future. God’s Word say honour your father and your mother that it might be well with you and that your days may be long (Ephesians 6: 1-3). But very many young people of this generation have began to take to a life of dishonoring their parents and other elderly ones in the society. They think talking abusively and beating elderly ones is a way to shine in life. But little do they know that they put curses upon themselves. This is a fulfillment of the scripture (1 Timothy 3:1-2). Friend, one of the lessons of this season is that we should honour our parents and elders among us. Jesus was in Jerusalem with His parents. Devotional Verse - “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V. 1)


     Any appointment without time can always fail. This is very vital when it comes to personal time with God. Remember the enemy doesn’t want you to have it. So, he will do everything to discourage you. He will use people; he will help you create excuses.  That is why you must be so determined and always fix a time to be with the Lord your God.
  We read from King David who fixed early in the morning. Whatever you do early in the morning must be very important to you. This is early before you rush out. The Bible says Peter and John were also going to the house of the Lord in the hour of prayers. The hour of prayers are 6 am, 9 am, 12 noon, 3 pm, 6 pm etc. The reason people fix time was not because of religion but to be consistent with God.
 
   Friend, you need to choose a time you know that will be convenient for you. Even when no time is convenient, make up your mind to set a time. It does not need to be as convenient but as commanded. Anything that will add to your life will never be easy. You are the one to make up your mind. The Holy Spirit will help you. Peace.
PRAYER: Lord, give me the strength to seek you early.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
