  MANDATE OF VICTORY Joshua 1:1-6 Devotional:- “No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you” (V. 5) NKJV God has no plan or programme of failure or defeat for you. He made all things available for your victory. Many of us have not come to an awareness that we are not here on our own. We are here for God. You are created by God. Packaged and sent to this world to manifest for Him (Isaiah 43:21). So God has a lion's share in your failure if you fail and vis-à-vis if you succeed. So if you fail, He is not happy. He knows that you are going to face some forces that will challenge your life. This could be in the school, office, and in society. But He has written a decree of your victory before you begin the battle. So for a Christian, the battle of life is fixed. Devotional Verse - “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V. 1)


     Any appointment without time can always fail. This is very vital when it comes to personal time with God. Remember the enemy doesn’t want you to have it. So, he will do everything to discourage you. He will use people; he will help you create excuses.  That is why you must be so determined and always fix a time to be with the Lord your God.
  We read from King David who fixed early in the morning. Whatever you do early in the morning must be very important to you. This is early before you rush out. The Bible says Peter and John were also going to the house of the Lord in the hour of prayers. The hour of prayers are 6 am, 9 am, 12 noon, 3 pm, 6 pm etc. The reason people fix time was not because of religion but to be consistent with God.
 
   Friend, you need to choose a time you know that will be convenient for you. Even when no time is convenient, make up your mind to set a time. It does not need to be as convenient but as commanded. Anything that will add to your life will never be easy. You are the one to make up your mind. The Holy Spirit will help you. Peace.
PRAYER: Lord, give me the strength to seek you early.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
