  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. Devotional Verse - “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V. 1)


     Any appointment without time can always fail. This is very vital when it comes to personal time with God. Remember the enemy doesn’t want you to have it. So, he will do everything to discourage you. He will use people; he will help you create excuses.  That is why you must be so determined and always fix a time to be with the Lord your God.
  We read from King David who fixed early in the morning. Whatever you do early in the morning must be very important to you. This is early before you rush out. The Bible says Peter and John were also going to the house of the Lord in the hour of prayers. The hour of prayers are 6 am, 9 am, 12 noon, 3 pm, 6 pm etc. The reason people fix time was not because of religion but to be consistent with God.
 
   Friend, you need to choose a time you know that will be convenient for you. Even when no time is convenient, make up your mind to set a time. It does not need to be as convenient but as commanded. Anything that will add to your life will never be easy. You are the one to make up your mind. The Holy Spirit will help you. Peace.
PRAYER: Lord, give me the strength to seek you early.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
