  SPECIAL CHILDREN Proverbs 23:15-25  Devotional:- “Do not let your heart envy sinners, But be zealous for the fear of the LORD all the day” (V.17) NKJV Today, the lives of children in most nations are becoming a great trouble. Many parents have lost control of their children. But in the midst of these hopeless situations of the future generation, yet some children allow the word of God to rule their lives, such children have the fear of God in them. These are children who keep a wise heart and who have learnt the right use of their lips. Who don’t open their lip to speak just anything but the truth and wisdom (Proverbs 23:16). These are children who don’t envy the way of sin, nor do they get themselves involved in the sinful nature of this generation. Rather, they fear the Lord, and this affects everything they do (Proverbs 23:17). Devotional Verse - “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V. 1)


     Any appointment without time can always fail. This is very vital when it comes to personal time with God. Remember the enemy doesn’t want you to have it. So, he will do everything to discourage you. He will use people; he will help you create excuses.  That is why you must be so determined and always fix a time to be with the Lord your God.
  We read from King David who fixed early in the morning. Whatever you do early in the morning must be very important to you. This is early before you rush out. The Bible says Peter and John were also going to the house of the Lord in the hour of prayers. The hour of prayers are 6 am, 9 am, 12 noon, 3 pm, 6 pm etc. The reason people fix time was not because of religion but to be consistent with God.
 
   Friend, you need to choose a time you know that will be convenient for you. Even when no time is convenient, make up your mind to set a time. It does not need to be as convenient but as commanded. Anything that will add to your life will never be easy. You are the one to make up your mind. The Holy Spirit will help you. Peace.
PRAYER: Lord, give me the strength to seek you early.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
