That is, they get annoyed and refuse to relate to one another. Many of us have some people we don’t greet now on this account. Some people have taken offence at their parents and relations, and they refused to relate to them. The truth is that if you know the harm you are doing to yourself by so doing, you will give up on this.   In the scripture we read today, John the Baptist was not happy because Jesus did not come to rescue him from prison, and he took offence at Christ. WORKING TOGETHER

Working Together as Change Agents | Blog: Think ImmigrationWORKING TOGETHER

1 Corinthians 3:5-17
Devotional Verse -  “For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building” (V. 9)

Fellowship is working together. Whenever a group or set of people are working together to achieve a common goal, they are in fellowship. Being in fellowship demands our coming to the same level and share as fellow in the same ship. People who are journeying together in the same ship have common destination in mind. This makes them to work together and make the goal achievable.

The word of God says, we are God’s fellow workers. This means by working together for the Lord as we serve in His vineyard, we are fellow in the same ship. The reason most teamwork are difficult either in office or in the house of God is that some people feel superior to other. But when people in service are in fellowship, then, teamwork becomes easier, because they will work with one spirit and one focus (Genesis 11:6). This is the secret of the church.

The beauty of fellowship is that it becomes easier to share our strength. No one notices who is weak or who is strong. We all work together in love of Christ. That will put the enemy out of business and we can break barriers. But this is a product of fellowship (Amos 3:3). By this wisdom of fellowship, you will keep winning. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always enjoy the blessing of fellowship
