LOVE DEFINED I John 4:7-11 Devotional:- “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love” (V.8) NKJV Today, many people have been put into great trouble simply because they are looking for love. Since the nature of man cannot enjoy living without a lover, everyone searches for one wholeheartedly. If you find anyone who says he doesn’t need love from anyone, he is not sincere. He will soon find himself in desperate need of love. Since love is a universal need, men always seek for it, and most people never find it. There are quite a lot of things men term love, which are not, and has inturn misled and confused them. Until you can define your need, you may not have them met. This necessitates the need to truly define love. The scripture we read today gave us the true meaning of love. And you will be wise to embrace the word of God. It said, “God is love” (1 John 4:8). REVEAL YOUR WEAKNESS                

1 John 1:5-10
Devotional Verse - “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (V. 9)
 
    People can only have the best of fellowship when they don’t hide behind one finger. True fellowship demands openness in sincerity. This is important so that God’s mercy can allow us to access His presence. Man by every standard can never be qualified to stand in the presence of God. All that the Lord desire of us is that we humble ourselves and open up to Him.
 
   The word of God says “if we say we have no sin, the truth is not in us”. But if we open up our weaknesses to God, He is faithful and just to forgive us. Opening our wounds to God gives Him the access to heal us. But pretending before your God is pride. So, to enjoy true and impactful fellowship demands that we don’t cover up before our maker like Adam and Eve did (Genesis 3:10).
 
   Friend, no one is covered and nothing is hiding before the Lord.  Playing hide and seek eliminates you from those who will prosper by the Lord (Proverbs 28:13). Whenever we reveal our weaknesses before Him, we enjoy His mercy. His mercy gives us access to his favour. This makes us partaker of His grace to prosper. Repent and forsake those sin and you will enjoy His mercy. Peace.
 
PRAYER: Lord, I need your mercy

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
